Thanks for your interest. I think you can do it To get the video like in the preview but with your logos, images and text, you only need to know how to edit text and position images. The hardest part I think would be finding your way around the After Effects interface. I’ve included a tutorial pdf to guide users around the template, I think it will give you a good idea on how it works. Here’s the tutorial: CLICK ME!

Thanks for your interest. For the other readers of this post, please see http://videohive.net/licenses/standard for license details. You’ll need to ask a member of Envato staff to confirm this since this is a general guideline and terms may change over time, but this is my understanding of how it works at the moment:

All licenses: 1 end product
This means that you can only export 1 final video product to be published using the template. This end product can be copied and published on different platforms. If you want to render another version of the same video to be published, but with different text or colors for example, you need to buy another license since it’s a different end product. For each variation you publish, you need a new license.

Which license to buy?

Regular License:
Use this license if the video generated from the template will be viewable for free. If viewers require membership fees or entrance fees for example, you’ll need the extended license.

Extended License:
Use this license if the video generated from the template will be sold, for example on a DVD, in a film that you need to pay an entrance fee to watch, or integrated into a paid app, or if your advertisement is viewed on a site that requires users to pay membership fees to watch the videos, etc… Basically this license applies to all scenarios where the end user (the viewer) needs to pay to see the video.

Based on your description of your needs, I think you should be fine with a Standard license, but make sure to buy a new license for every variation you make that will be published.

Hello steffl, thanks for your interest. This template only has 1 character placeholder by default, but you could switch around multiple characters in that placeholder at any time and as many times as you like (I did this effect in the video preview to show the variety of character options flashing one after the other). Also, the template is completely editable so you could potentially add in other characters side by side if you can figure out how to duplicate the character placeholder layers and animate them. Thanks for your interest. The project is set up in a way where you can pretty much change all this if you wanted to.

The project is split up into composition “parts”… meaning that every time you see a cut in the video, you can remove that part by deleting the comp and shifting the rest back in time.

Extending the clipboards is totally possible, but you’ll have to do a little bit of digging in the compositions to find what elements to extend. The clipboards are all pre-comped and their movement is controlled by a null object, so you could control how long they stay on screen if you find the null’s keyframes.I’m not sure what you mean by “making your own unique clipboards”... You could redesign the clipboards entirely but that would require a little more work to study the parenting structure. Changing the contents of the clipboards would be much easier since everything on the paper is in a placeholder.

All in all, you can change all this as you please but it will take a bit of time. How easy it will be will depend on your understanding of the software… and that’s up to you! Please understand that if you want to mess with the template, there will be a limit to how much I can help you. But always feel free to ask for advice.

Thanks for the purchase! Sound like you already have a pretty good PC This is an effects-heavy project and also a few minutes of animation, so full resolution rendering can take a while. A few hours is normal for this project at 1080p resolution.

Thanks for purchasing the template – I can’t wait for you to use it! It sounds like you’re having an issue unzipping the file. I can’t say why this would happen, but sometimes errors like that occur when the download gets interrupted, is incomplete, or if a file corruption randomly happens in the download process.

Don’t worry, once you purchase the file it stays in your downloads section so you can re-download it any number of times you want. The file has been tested on Mac’s and PC’s so this sounds like a temporary issue.

To solve this problem, I’d recommend you download the file again and try unarchiving the new download into a folder on your desktop. This will most likely work. If you are still getting an error then I can only suggest trying to unarchive the file with another zip tool like “The Unarchiver” than you can get for free here: http://bit.ly/YQDtSe

In this case, it looks like your particular version of OSX is having difficulty opening this particular zip file – I’ve sent you an email with the solution to this problem.
