Exellent work!
on the tutorial you use slim expression control for the colors and the texts… i don’t have that script. how is it gonna work on my computer? thanks
I’m not using “slim expression control”. The template is created entirely with the “stock” After Effects CS3 and works with any version from CS3 to CC . You don’t need any other extra plugin , script etc.
Best Regards
Hi, Great work! I’m planning to purchase this but I just want to ask if the rectangles are resizable? And can they slide in from the right instead of top/ left/ bottom?
Thanks!
None of the above is possible out of the box.
The dificulty of changing the box sizes varies from style to style. For one style changing the width is easier , for anther is easier to change the hight etc.
Regarding sliding from the right I could make those changes for you for style 02 and style 04 because there’s not to much work involved. As you can see , style 01 and style 03 are not constructed to come in from left or right side (only from bottom) so making them slide from left or right would mean to redo the entire animation.
How do i adjust the solid white title & text (motion designer at envato) to be much longer? Please help, I’m stuck!
Here is how to do that :

Thank you for the quick response. Life saver!
I changed the color of the text (that was “DESIGNED BY”) to another color (since my background is white); however, no matter what I do… it continues to render as white. How can I change?
What you’re describing is happening because there’s a preset to change the colour of all white texts at the same time . If you want to separately change only the colour of the “Designed by” text follow the steps from this video :

AMAZING!!!
I purchased this before I realized that I can’t just render the lower thirds and then import them into Avid Media Composer to key over my video. Any recommendations or suggestions?
You can render “RGB+Alpha Channel” and then place the resulting video on top of any other video you want.
Here is an example. It’s from another lower thirds template of mine , but the steps are the same :

Excellent !
Excellent work. I wish you success and great sales
unique and very useful project:)
thanks
Hi!
How can I have multiple lower-thirds in the same project. For example, I would like 3x “LOWER THIRD 02” that all say different things?
I tried duplicating the folder, but it changed each instance?
The easiest would be to render the lower third (RGB+Alpha Channel) for each scene and place them on top of your video.

I thought I left another comment?
Any who, I ended removing the text from the sub-comps and put it in my main and then matched up the text motion to the box motion. That way I can just copy+paste across the boxes and separately copy+paste the text and edit it.
I’m sure I wouldn’t be the only one in the same boat, perhaps add a version with this kind of workaround for those of us that need multiple lower-thirds in a vid. Looks good, nice and simple!
Good work
Cool
Hi! I have a question. I want to be able to use this Lower thirds for any of the free video content that we release for SLRLounge.com’s youtube page (http://www.youtube.com/slrlounge)
What type of licensing do we need?
- Joe
love it, my best regards
Very nicely done!
Nevermind. I figured it out. Great work!
Hi , Sorry for not being able to answer in a reasonable timeframe , but we live in different time zones . Glad you figured it out and thanks for your purchase. Please don’t forget to rate.
I need to reposition the graphic lower down on the screen. How can I do that?
