You could have placed a different logo except the same which you’ve shown. bcz I’m not familiar with AE so it really suck my time to create it & I’m still not done with that.. I like your creation but tutorial is very poor.
You can send me your logo and I shall edit it for u and and send u the aep file which you can render yourself. Hope that helps:)

I have one question, if i render this movie in .avi then the file is 750MB large. What are the best options for export for web (youtube for example) and that the quality is still high.

For the web like youtube or vimeo, you can export the project in quicktime h264 format. Its probably the best quality format for web available till date while maintaining the file size reasonable and low.

I just downloaded this to begin working on it, and when I uploaded it onto my CS6 (mac) it continued to tell me it needed a Windows 9. None of the comps are showing up except the title web bar. The rest just have a TV Color Bar on them. Help please !
as far as I know, there is no windows 9 released till date, The latest is windows 8. and the file can both be opened in mac or windows without problem.Simply ignore the message.
TV color bar represent that the footage is missing. You can do two things in this case.1. Extract the zip file in the new location and open the after effects project file. OR 2. Replace the missing footage from AE project window and relocate that missing file, which you already have extracted.
This should work there after. Hope that helps.

There is nothing you can customize in my logo, whereas I know what to do with AI files after 20 years of editing vectors professionally. The problem was the Adjustment Layer 2 on the Logo composition was masking out the color in the replacement logo. Once I turned off that layer, the logo showed predictably. It would be ideal to temporarily remove Optical Flares from your AE when saving out to remove the error warning for end users, whereas it embeds the plugins presence even if not used, and disable that logo composition layer which is also a problem for varied logo usage.
Thanks Inndesign for the suggestions, I am aware of the optical flares issues. I shall look into it and also the logo adjustment layer problems.
Seems like nice revealer, but doesn’t work right for me. Open in After Effects CS6, and replace logo with Illustrator CS6 AI with two lines of text, top line of text black, second line of text green. The green line only shows 2 outside characters as green, and inside text as black, while all the characters should be green. Tried saving logo file to AI CS4, CS5, and same text to outline and even EPS down to version 10, same problem. Nothing will resolve the issue. Additionally, I must purchase Optical Flares from Video Copilot for $125.00 to use this revealer with AEF CS6, where it is missing otherwise. Caveat emptor.

and yes, if you have your text different colors, then try applying fill effect to the layer and choose the right color, But I would be happy to edit your file and see what’s causing the main problem,
Can the bg of colors rendered with transperent background. I need to put this on some other video. So if its transperent then it will not look like patch work. Insted of bg grey color as per my assumption my video should be there in bg.

Definately you can put your video in the bg,. The grey background is the seperate layer.
