Hello, do I need Trapcode in order to edit the text that is slowly fracturing? Or is Trapcode solely just for the optical flares, and the foreground/background elements separate from the text? Thank you!
Hi,
You don’t need any plugins to edit the text (the fracture was made with standard AE effects). Trapcode was used only for small particles on background.

Hi, if we put out the background to overlay the titles on a footage do we get still the 3d look perspective of the collapse or is it the light in AE who will produce this effect ? How to compose to get still this look then. Thanks, very good project!
Hello. Not quite sure if I understood you correctly, but you can replace the background and everything in the scene will be the same as before (except background of course). Rocks, titles, lights and all their effects don’t depend on background.

Yes, but instead of putting out lights, you need to turn off “Flares” layer (it is layer with Optical Flares plugin). I mean you need the light object, but it can be invisible.
