Then of course, if you get stuck somewhere, feel free to ask and we will help you out This being said, it is always advised to have at least a very basic knowledge of After Effects so that you can use the kit without any problems.

Hi, this is happening since there is a screen per scene, and when you duplicate the scene, the new scene will still use the same screen. What you need to do is to duplicate the screen composition as well, from the project window. Then replace the screen in the newly duplicated scene, with the new screen. You can do this by simply clicking on the Screen 01 in Scene 04, and then drag in the new screen and place it over Screen 01, while holding Alt on your keyboard. This will replace it automatically.

The update is still something that we need to work on, as we are caught up on a few other projects, but of course it is an update that we are looking into, this being said, unfortunately, we don’t have a date for it yet.

Hi, thank you for your message. I am glad you are enjoying using the toolkit. To do this all you need to do is simply duplicate the Swipe Right layer 3 times (edit > duplicate). This way you will have 3 Swipe Right layers to work with. Then simply use them as you would use any other gesture. That’s all! Of course if you would like further help let us know!

Hi, it doesn’t currently have these devices in it. That said if you have a png image of the device, you can easily switch the current phone with your phone images.

Ok, but I was wondering if you can update this project , you can advertise that it is up to date with new devices. It makes it more appealing to have up to date project.

Hi Keenan, the update is mostly related to software. We have removed the need for Quicktime player and added support for CC 2018. That said, we will be rolling an update in the following months that will add a few exciting features, so keep tuned!

Hi Neuron, I have taken all the necessary steps from other complainants in this thread long before you pointed out the Quicktime issue. Your software has a critical flaw. I have taken video of the process so you can see live for yourself.

Hi Graham, thank you for your update. We looked further into this issue, and it looks like Adobe has stopped support for one of the formats in the latest CC 2018 version, which was just released last month. Since this is the official format being used throughout envato, we are working with Envato to see which codec we can re-configure the project to, in-order to be supported in CC 2018.

In the mean time if you have the possibility to use an earlier version of After Effects, like CC 2017, this should fix the problem, as we have just tested it without a problem. We will of course be coming with a solution for CC 2018 and will be updating the project shortly.

Hi, thank you for your interest. The toolkit basically consists of 85 scenes that are pre-made, then you will need to drag in your images for the screens and add the included gestures, etc, depending on what you would like. This is simplified how much as possible, that said it is still done with the After Effects interface, so having a basic understanding of After Effects would be great to help you work with it quickly.

That said, the toolkit is accompanied with 8 help videos that go over every feature. If you are a beginner we recommend to go through these a couple of times before you start working with it, than just use them as reference when you are working on your video.

Hi, generaly this problem is associated to Quicktime player. In some cases, AE requires quicktime player to read certain file formats. If you don’t have this you can easily download and install this for free from Apple’s site. Here’s a link: https://support.apple.com/kb/DL837?locale=en_GB

Also, make sure to extract / unzip the file before you open it in After Effects, as After Effects won’t be able to access the files if they are not unzipped.

Have you set new markers in the Screen composition? As the feature is used to see where you positioned the screen transitions/gestures, etc in the screen compositions so it will only change/update if it needs to be updated.

You can find more information on adding hand gestures and transitions in the help video named: ‘Help Video 01 – Adding Different Gestures’, where the whole process is explained, including the use of the markers.
