I want Christmas 11 too!
Unfortunatley i can be so happy about this template because theres missing footage and this is not what i I usually expect. Its a beautiful template but unable to use it.
Can you give more info about the issue? Do you get any errors? Which footage is missing etc. This happens sometimes if you try to start the project directly from the zip file without extracting the archive.
When you open the project for the first time you will get a warning about the font if you haven’t installed it, but there shouldn’t be any missing footage.
Will we have the release of Cristimas 11?
Unfortunately this year I wont be able to produce a Santa project.
There’s no way I could make an effort. We’ve been partners for many years… every year we wait until November, eager for a new project.

Hi, First of all, thank you for your good work. However, I have a problem with the project this year. As always, I want to adjust the colours to ours. But as soon as I activate the effect buttons in the control field (Controls/#other), the MAIN stage freezes. It seems as if the computer is completely overwhelmed with the possibilities. It is then not possible to continue working. Only when I have deactivated the control boxes again does it work. But that doesn’t help because I have to adjust the colours. I have tested it on two computers with the same result: iMAC pro and MacBook pro M1. Can you help me?
update: i tried it on a third machine (PC, 3D rendering workstation) same result

Let’s try a workaround.
In the Project panel search for “scene_03_source” composition. When you open it you’ll see many adjustment layers (the red ones). They are responsible for the changing of colors in the theater scene.
Turn off the visibility for all of them. Then go to CONTROLS and enable the effects in (Controls/#other).
Then go back to scene_03_source comp and enable the visibility one by one only for the things you need to change the color of.
(I think the layers are named properly, for example if you want to change the color of the curtains the name of the layer you need to enable is “curtains”. Try one layer to see if it freezes.)
If there is no freezing you can go to CONTROLS and start changing colors.
Let me know how it went.
I was finally able to find the issue with the lagging. Apparently there was some kind of a AE limit with how many adjustment layers in a composition you can have, that was caused lagging, crashing no matter what kind of hardware is running on.
The issue is now fixed and the project is also updated to 4K.

Great as always but this year I have a problem. This project in AE25 with my Mac Pro 3.5 GHz Intel Xeon W 8-core, AMD Radeon Pro W5500X 8GB, 32 GB 2666 MHz DDR4 has very very lag when preview and rendering. I have tryed AE24 but is very very lag too. What version have you used for this project?

Hmm, It shouldn’t be laggy. I like to keep compatibility with old versions of AE so I used AE CS4, same as my other projects. After you open the project with a newer version it converts it so this should be an issue.
Could it be in the HDD? AE needs to read from thousands of images (sequences) and this sometimes causes problems with old HDDs.
In addition to the PCI Solid HD 500Gb, a second SSD Extreme 55AE 1Tb, but I think may be a problem from my AMD Radeon Pro W5500X.
There are times when it renders fast and other times it doesn’t in the same project.

This usually happens if you try to run the project directly from the zip archive.
Make sure you extract the zip file before you open the After Effects project file.

It looks like recent macOS has stricter permissions and you have to allow After Effects to have access to the files and folders through system preferences.
When opening the project in After Effects, it needs to convert the project file from an older version to a newer and if it doesn’t have permissions it throws missing file error and crashes without showing a warning about the permissions.
