Hi there karistuck, I don’t understant exactly what you mean. Anyway, whole template is “expression universalized” so after effects in any language won’t have problem with this template and these characters you can combine with whatever you want.

2.All animated letters have transparent BG so as you can see in “sample comp” everything what is beneath letters is they’rs background (in this case just dark purple solid layer) so if you replace this solid with your video footage, you will have your video footage as background
