Hi I love all your work. I’m not sure whether I need Mondo or Mondo+. Basically I love the typography and want to just add it as a title on a video. Will just getting Mondo do the trick?
Hi! The short answer is yes. If you’re just wanting to do a basic title and not a ‘fly-over’, then just purchasing ‘Mondo’ will be fine.
If you don’t have a lot of experience with After Effects, and think you may want to do something more advanced later on (i.e. a fly-over sequence), then I recommend that you buy ‘Mondo Plus’.
Where do I place a video, behind what layer? Should I just duplicate Title Layout to create more then one text title to add to Cam A-D Sequence?

To place footage underneath your title, make sure your title is on a transparent background. Then create a new comp and place your footage in it on one layer and on the layer above that, place your final title comp. when I open your project Mondo Plus in AE 6 I get the following error message when I click on S2 CAM A (or any other)
Class Effect has no Values or Methods with the name “Slider”
Error in line 1 Komp.: “S2 CAM A” Layer: 5 (“CAM A”) Value Position
(translated form german to english).
What can I do about that?

How can I make a color correction like “Give your films that creative edge” on preview? I really liked that colors and blur. Thanks!
You can buy color correction packs which will give you a similar look through VideoHive – but I used a www.gorillagrain.com vintage preset.
Sorry, did not see that. This is absolutely amazing, thanks so much. I had a Q. How did you get the Text to Paint itself? I saw you had the two Photoshop files for each letter. Do you just create the strokes in PS, and then Keyframe the “Paint Effect” in AE?
Hey Drew – each brush stroke was drawn and scanned separately so that each letter could be redrawn within AE just as it would be in real life. Each stroke is revealed using an animated mask. Hope that makes sense
Do you change the text in After Effects? Or in Photoshop?
You do everything in AE. I go through it all in the help videos – so make sure you check them out

So does that mean I can use the font with my print materials to match the video? Is it a font as well.. outside of After Effects?
The template also includes Photoshop files which contain rasterized artwork for each letter/symbol. Each letter is fairly hi-res, so could be used for print but its not an actual font.

Thanks The image size (artboard) is 900×860 pixels – so each letter/symbol would be slightly smaller than that.
