why do you merge gaza and egypt together ?

In the far north-east of Egypt is Palestine, and the Palestinian city adjacent to Egypt is Gaza, but it is not within Egypt’s borders. On your map, Egypt’s borders include Palestinian Gaza as if it were part of Egypt?
Can you tell me what composition you are seeing this in? I am looking at the Asia map right now and that is not what I am seeing.

Hi this looks very nice. I want make my own custom areas using your template. To explain how haplogroups expanded and where there are today located. And I am really new to this and what know if its simple to do with your template?
Hey ergenekon1, creating custom areas is totally doable, and comes with a ‘create your own map’ composition. You do need to have a pretty decent understanding of After Effects though. Here is a video tutorial: https://vimeo.com/427625774/ae7fce9824 – Custom maps are covered at timecode 37:57.

Hey BBCPhoto, thanks for purchasing the kit! All movements, rotations and zooms are done using the camera. The camera library provides different options for how you want to move around a map. Which camera type are you currently using? If you want to provide images, you can send them to info@legacyproco.com
Hello There, I am just trying to see if its possible to change country colour; on grid map all they are blue’ish with slight variations from each other. I want to change 3 neighbouring countries into the same colour to separate from the rest. Is this possible? Thanks

Where does the map imagery come from? MapTiler, Bing, Google Maps, OpenStreetMaps?

They have been heavily modified, but are originally from Google Earth.
Hi. Is it possible to use your maps only as “Ground” to put my own stuff (like a boat or plane and signs) on it?
and is the comp less render heavy if I don’t use the satellite images? It looked very render intensive in your tutorial
Hey tmeuter, you can use the maps however you like, you can extract just the map texture files for your own purposes. The texture maps are a big part of the performance slow down, the other is the large amount of scrips being used. If you hide the map layers or use the custom map comps performance should improve. I just bought the template. It’s really good. I had to tweak a few things like the collapsed transformation to get more details when coming close, but I really like it
Would it be possible to get single projects for Europe, Asia, Africa, America? The workload from the projects size is quite heavy.

Hi CandBCreative, I am not familiar with this type of error, but after a bit of research, it appears its related to permissions and the location from which you are loading the project. Copy all the project files to your desktop and then load the after effects file and see if that will open.

I just bought it but I though I can animate highlighting some countries and I need also zoom to see Africa + Europe Russia + Asia. Is that possible? Otherwise I would have to kindly ask for refund. 
Hey cvakator, trying to understand what you are trying to do. The maps come in three formats, world, continent and country/state. Have you opened up the world map that would allow you to see both these continents simultaneously?

Hey dwcreativellc, yes, these countries have their own individual maps and are labelled on the Africa Map and World Map.

- I love the look of the grid map… Is it possible to make the sea a color other than black with this option set?
- Is it possible to assign different colors to different countries instead of them all being a variation of the same color?

Ha! I have a more complicated issue. I’d like to turn on only some cities. I see that I can turn off the names of the cities, but then the markers are still there.
Also, are there any work-arounds for having cities and city markers fade in/out?

Hi Mista Mogi, Can you please tell me if this MAP generator includes Serbia, as I can see the actual Serbian flag. I need to work on small town called Barajevo and to work around that town and to connect within the City of Belgrade.
Hey Milanjhb, yes Serbia has its own map composition and is labeled in the Europe Map set. Belgrade is labeled, however you will have to add in as marker for Barajevo using the provided markers.
I have 2 questions. Can you highlight or outline just the continents? And can you go from continent to continent. Like move from Mexico to Chile?
Hi Davidlamar, there is a World Map that you could use to go from North America to South America, otherwise they are broken up by continent. In terms of highlighting the continent, there is a highlight for every region or state within a continent, so if you just toggle them all at the same time, that would highlight the entire shape of the continent. I recently purchased Ultimate Maps Kit and created a short 3D map animation. After looking at the final animation, I noticed the physical/satellite map imagery isn’t lined up properly with the states (at least over Illinois and neighboring states). It seems to be correct in World_Master but not in USA_Master which is reflected in Illinois. Anyone who is familiar with the satellite imagery of Illinois and neighboring states will notice this in an animation of the area. Can this be corrected? Thank you.

Love this template! One question: I want to add several Text Description markers to one Country map. I am using the Route Editor as per the help video, but I cannot find a way to make separate Text Descriptions. There are only options for Right or Left… but each time I add another new text it replaces text for all markers. What do I need to cut and paste to be able to have distinct Pre-Comps with unique text? Thanks!

Hey Noahjoo, are you rendering a 4K composition or HD/1080? Rendering 4K maps with everything turned on / labeled can have lengthy render times depending on your computer. What type of hardware are you working with?
Hi. I am considering using this for my company to render maps adapted to our graphic profile. Does this item fall under the “tools” license so I can use it for multiple projects or is it a “buy once, use once” license? It does not feel like it is worth the effort to customize it unless I can use the project for various purposes.
Hey Joreri, an extended license will cover you for as many maps as you’d like for a commercial purpose.

Hey Jules, every major city is labelled for every country. You can use the marker library to add any other label you want, such as a small town or location. Hope that helps!

Let’s say I have to visually go from Denmark to Greenland in one graphic-trip, is that possible or do I have to merge maps (and do I merge maps in Photoshop or AE?)?
Can I start buying the regular license and if a client would buy the material, then upgrade to extended licens?

Hey Kristian, there is a ‘World Map’ that can be used for inter-continent purposes. For more detail, the compositions for each continent have thousands of unique expressions and controls so it isn’t possible to simply merge these maps and still have all of the same functionality. As for the license, theres no where on Envato to upgrade a regular license to an extended license, so if you choose to do that, we will have to use an alternative method of payment (Venmo, PayPal, etc.) Hope this helps!
