Hi. Sadly it’s not achievable through the template controls. But you could do it manually. For that you need to open every individual precomp (for example FB Bubble_Left_02), press the ‘shy’ button to unhide all the layers and resize the layer named Text Bubble.

Hi. The order of the messages show on screen matches the order of pre-comps in the timeline. If you want two messages from the left in a row – make sure that on the timeline those two precomps are on top of one another.

all the examples show 2 D, flat. Does your project also have 3 D possibilities, so the messages have more depth?

Oh. No the compositions are flat, but you could make them 3d if you with.

Hi. Unfortunately emojis are subject to copyright and there’s no native support for them in After Effects. So I couldn’t add them to the project. The only thing you could do is download an emoji image and add it to your text message composition (iOS Bubble_Right_01 for example)

Hi. It’s not intended to be changed in the template, however you could simply move each text bubble composition. For example “iOS Bubble_Right_03” is you’re using the iOS template.

Hello. Thank you for your purchase. It’s possible but it’s not intended to be easily done in the template. To remove the green dot in the facebook messages you’ll have to navigate to the individual text compositions (FB Bubble_Left_01 for example), “unshy” all the hidden layers with the toggle switch and hide the layer named Shape Layer 1 (it’s the third from the top).

To change the roundness of the iOS bubbles you’ll have to navigate to the individual iOS bubbles (iOS Bubble_Left_01 for example), unshy all the layers like in the example before, select the layer “Text bubble” and navigate to Contents->Main bubble-> Rectangle Path 1->Roundness.

Thank you for the purchase. You can change the individual avatars but it’s not straightforward. First you need to go to the Global Placeholders folder. There are two avatar compositions for the left and right avatars. You’ll need to duplicate one of the compositions, add the image to the duplicated composition and then you’ll have to go to the individual text message compositions (Android Bubble_Left_01 or FB Bubble_Left_01 for example) and replace the original avatar composition with the new one. You can do it by first selecting the avatar composition from the timeline and drag the new composition on the old one while pressing the alt key. If you still have troubles please contact me via email and I’ll give you some screenshots.
