Quicktime needs to be installed for after effects to import .mov files.

It’s weird that media encoder won’t open it either without quicktime installed, but I guess that’s apple and adobe love/hate relationship.

I just purchased your movie clips, however I am getting an error from both After effects CS6 and Adobe Media Encoder CS6 when trying to import the files.

After Effects: ‘[filename].mov’ cannot be imported- this ’.mov’ file is damaged or unsupported.

I know after effects supports .mov files, so its strange.

Media Encoder:’[filename].mov’ could not be imported. Source file has no importable streams. Please check that its a valid video/audio file.

I have downloaded twice from videohive, and extracted using windows unziper and winzip.

Any ideas?
