This can be done manually, changing the duration and possibly the animation of internal compositions. And then in the main composition, adjust the duration (of the scene) by moving the time slider of the composition layer.
This may require basic After Effects skills.
Hi there, is there an easy way to edit the HD template with HD footage? I do not have 4k footage and am finding that I have to resize everything!

No, unfortunately there is no other way. Because the template is primarily adapted for 4K/2K/FullHD resolution. When using the minimum FullHD resolution there is no significant difference after using upscaling. When using HD frames there may be a slightly larger difference. To increase frames, add your video to the placeholder and use the “Scale” scaling options.

To be honest im not familiar with after effect, this is my first video purchase, I want to create a showreel. Maybe it could be more clear that the music isn’t included, for someone like me reading Files Included After Effects Project Files. I wouldn’t know if those include music in the project. Maybe a message saying music sold separately would’ve been helpful.
Can you provide me with a free music alternative that would work ? I feel its a waste if I can’t get the music, and spending another 25$ on music is over my budget, Any suggestion is appreciated

Project updated - Fixed an issue that in rare cases resulted in an error for some users.
I also have this Invalid table adress warning that keeps popping up. In fact, it makes the project unusable cause it blocks the playing of video. I have MacStudio Max M1 2022 32gb ram with latest Adobe (23.3.0 build 53). Can you send to me the updates you made too? Ive read on some adobe forum that it might be caused by locked sequences. Thanks in advance

Yes, sure. Any color can be changed. You need to go to the composition “Scene 02” to display all the layers in the composition, turn off the “Hides all layers for which the shy switch is set” function by clicking on the button (located on the same line with the timeline)
Next, find the layers called “Black Solid”, select each of them in the “Effect controls” panel in the “Fill” effect, select any color.

For some reason (a certain configuration or driver), out of the current 155 customers, only you and one other user (who wrote here in the comments), After Effects reacts this way to the usual standard “Basic Text” plugin, which is in the Placeholder file – the “Media Placeholder” layer and presumably in a situation where the media file is placed under this file, instead of “Position the media file above this layer”. Question to Adobe why this is happening.
