open the composition called “Animation” and drop your background image below the layers called “Logo Comp”. To just get rid of the diagonal lines, select the layer “Dark Gray Solid 1” and delete the effect “Venetian Blinds” in the Effects Control window.

(I guess you meant the diagonal lines in the background as there should not be horizontal lines).

Even more easy method to get rid of the lines: Set the “Lines Thickness” to 0. You find that control in the controls layer, for more info take a look at the third section of the pdf-tutorial

Hi, the message after opening my project is normal, it just means that it is created with an earlier version of after effects. That’s not an error, it just tells you that it will open it as new untitled project to not overwrite the original file.

The problem you describe sounds like you have chosen some bad render settings. try h.264 with high quality. It’s kinda hard to tell what codec is best choice for you. If you want to rerender it within a bigger video you might not want to choose h.264 since that’s an highly compressed output format and should not be rerendered. quicktime png would be good for that purpose.

edit/ the warning after opening cs6 might be a problem, yes. maybe a google search will help you with that.

here is the simple version if u need it urgent:

- go to the “Put Logo in here” composition, and make the logo-placeholder invisible (clicking on the eye-switch).

-at the top bar of after effects, there’s a button with a big “T”. click on this button, now the look of the mouse icon changes.

-click in the preview window, now you can type your text.

-if you want to change things like font, size, color of the text, you can do this in the “Character” window. If you cannot find that window, go to Window>Character.

- now, again at the top bar, click on the normal mouse-icon, to switch back to the normal selecting mode. now you can click and drag your text in position.

Hi, as far as I know, no, you can not render it with alpha channel, because the lens flares don’t come with alpha (they are in blending mode “screen”). It’s possible without the flares, though. But you can use your own background in the project.

I will take a closer look if there might be a chance to get an alpha of the flares, I will write you back.

Okay, so there is no chance to get it with alpha channel with the flares. But after purchase I can provide you a version that outputs 2 videos: the logo animation with alpha and the flares with black background. You would need to set the blending mode of the flares to additive or screen in your editing program, so you can then use it over any footage without much hassle.

Your editing program needs to support blending modes, though. Sony Vegas, Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro do support it, for example.

i use other software and only support alpha channel, i looking that for logo id for that i need alpha channel is most faster for me, but i like your work i check the next proyects, thank you for replay
