Hi, there are two files in the folder. One with optical flares prerendered, so you don’t need the plugin if you use that file. the file you have chosen is the plugin version which requires the plugin “optical flares” from videocopilot.net.

if you move or copy the after effects file in another directory, you also have to copy the folder “footage” in the same directory. if thats not possible, open the after effects file and relink the missing elements. right click one of the missing elements (shown as colorbars) in the project window and choose “Replace Footage” – now browse for the original folder you have downloaded and doubleclick the footage folder – now select the file and load it. after effects will detect the other missing elements automaticaly and your problem should be fixed.

everything with an alpha channel (psd,png tga,...) or any supported vector graphics, the outline will be generated with matte effects inside after effects. there is also an pdf file inside the original folder which perfectly shows how to import your content. next time plz contact me via the contact form on my profile page, cause i check my mails more often than visiting videohive, we don’t get an email if a customer wrote an comment, so for better and faster support use the contact form. good luck and have fun using the template
