Could the Carousel Maker be configured to wait until each video clip finished playing before transitioning to the next one? I have five video clips of different lengths, spanning from one to two minutes each.

New Question (as I figured out the error in my thinking in the other one – sorry about that)—I need the frames to be vertical instead of horizontal. Is it possible for me to rotate the frames inside the project without too much trouble??

You listed it with Universal Expressions – but they break with a German After Effects. Do you have a fix?

How do I add an animated background or change the background color for that matter? I’m using the Linear carousel and cannot figure out background options.
Hello, sorry for my delay but I didn’t see your email. However you have to press the “Shy layers” button (https://qph.fs.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-68e49aef878a0901b434882a3cd70e2e) to reveal the hidden layers and import or create your background layer that you will place below the “pivot” layer. the demo video promotes this product limited possibilities as if you can use it to create many compositions. But the license is a single use only. I think this is a bit misleading. But I am gonna give this a try. I like the effects in the video

Yes of course. Each item is an empty composition that you can fill with images, texts, videos, shapes etc…
How do I change item shape from landscape to portrait as in several of the examples in the video?
Hello just put your “portrait image” (obviously with alpha channel) in the center of the item composition. In other words even if the item composition is 16:9, if you place a vertical image with alpha channel (the left and the right side of the composition is blank) in the carousel you will see only the portrait. I hope I have explained…
Thanks, it worked! I learned something. To Photoshop and make a 16:9 file, import image and center, then save as a PNG (so Alpha).
great! anyway it is not necessary to use photoshop and export a png file, you can do everything in after effects simply placing your portrait in the item composition as I said before
