I just purchase it and there is a video that explain how to install when your Mac open the correct folder but it does not explain how to install if da Vinci doesn’t show the folders .
Hi, you need to coy macro files into the folder. Paths you can find the txt file in the Help folder
is there a way to change the base fonts? I have installed all the fonts (MAC) but a few still are buggy (academy engraved LET).

Hi, there is a new simple way. Go to Fusion Tab and Activate the Effect Library tab, then navigate to Templates > Edit > Titles and right click “Show in Folder” and install macros into this folder.

I purchased the pack for $50 and followed your instructions and installed all the fonts. I am on Resolve Studio 17.4.1 and used the folder paths for the files. First I have no idea what is a macro vs what is a title. This is very vague in the tutorial which has wasted tons of my time so far trying to figure out what is what. Second I used the mac folder path which appear to be all the same for all 3 types of files which further ads to the confusion I am having. Basically I cannot get anything to show up in the software and have tried like 10 times now. Should I just request a refund? Please respond.

With a new version of Davinci Resolve, there is another way of installing macro files.

that means I cannot preview any of the titles and it also will not work inside the edit tab. Any animation has to be done in the fusion tab. The entire point of purchasing the entire pack was to save time by not using the fusion tab. I also have zero access to any of the titles and zero of the other assets. There is no disclaimer that it does not work with the latest version of resolve on the website. I would like to request a refund since the product was not as advertised.

Hello. Some of the transitions work backwards. For example Split_transition_06. When i drag it between video 1 and video 2, it does the transition from video 2 -> video 1.

Hi, I installed the fonts and created a timeline with 30fps and 1080p. I started testing this week for use in the channel I’ll be creating soon. So far practically all elements work, but YF_LowerThird_02 is always black, even if I change the fonts to Arial for example. I’m using Windows 10 and DR Studio 17.4.3.

Hey used to have an iMac, then upgraded to another. I downloaded DaVinci Studio 17.4.2, installed it. now i went into the folders mentioned in your help file to drag and drop the items in them. but it seems like DaVinci change their folder Paths… So I don’t know where to put the transitions and other. The LUTS are still the same so that works. Please help! Thanks

Hi, Please, make sure you have the same FPS in both clips. Also, you need to trim the end and the beginning of those clips before applying the transition.
Hello. I have the same problem of user SMD747. None of the call outs works. I downloaded all the Fonts needed but when I hover over or add they are just black background.. I’m Using studio 17, NOT the beta. I looked your support video and I tried to change the fonts to arial bold and other regular fonts, but doesn’t work. Appreciate your help. Thank You, Domien
Hi, the only problem with black screen is fonts. Please, double check them. Maybe you are missed to install Bebas Neue, which is used many times in Callouts.

I just installed the macros to resolve 17. 1. I can find them in fusion tab effects but not in resolve tab effects is there a solution for this problem? 2. Cant know what the effect does without implementing it and wait for it to render. Do you have a master list with name vs sumplifies image that would be great. Can you please provide a screen shot. When I right click on the arrow nothing happens. I cant find the “Show All” option. the small arrow only expands the tree. please note I use the latest version. By the way the https fontfabric is not free anymore, I can download the fontsquiril and google fonts but not Fontfabric. It doesn’t seem to cause issues though. again would have provided screen shots but chat box doesn’t allow.

The arrow exists in the media but not in effects !!. is it difference between paid and free version ? again I am on 17.4 revision. If you send me email I will reply with screen shots

Thank you Yura for support. after copying the folders to Edit/generators and Edit/titles instead of just having them in Edit I can find them in Edit tab/page.

Hi, please make sure you trimmed both clips. Also make sure both clips have the same FPS. Otherwise transitions might be black.
