I have the same problem. I Just want to copy and paste the Titles in my own project. It says media offline error. I don’t want to import my project into yours with Dynamic Project Switching. I want to use my own project and import 1 or 2 titles into is. Is that even possible? Thanks.
Hi, sorry for the inconvenience. You can customize the title to your liking and then you can render it out as a transparent video file, with an Apple ProRes 4444 codec, which allows you to to enable the transparency (alpha channel). You can also use other output formats that support an alpha channel. Then simply import this video footage of the title into your project. This avoids having to use the dynamic project switching.
Hallo, I purchased your product today, but it dont work, I see only black. I have DaVinci Resolve 18.1. on Windows, please, can you help me? Thank you, Peter
Hi Peter! I’m sorry about the inconvenience. Most times these problems happen due to Davinci’s caching issues.
To fix this, please first try these solutions:
1. Download and install the font from the “Fonts” folder
2. Try selecting the maco file (one where you customize the colors & text) and try changing one of the texts font. See if that solves the problem.
If they don’t help, then try doing these steps:
3. Try opening the fusion tab, and see if that forces Davinci to refresh files.
4. Try restarting Davinci, sometimes this helps.
5. If you’re using an Nvidia graphics card, try downloading Nvidia studio drivers. Gaming drivers sometimes can cause lots of bugs in Davinci.
6. Go to fusion tab (1), select one of the footage nodes (2) and try toggling it’s on/off switch (3) as show in this picture: https://i.imgur.com/dksdQZO.jpg Sometimes this helps Davinci refresh the files once again.
7. If everything fails, you can try reconnecting the media files to the macro file as shown in this tutorial: https://youtu.be/YB9u35-u7ts
Please let me know if any of these help you, thanks!
Remove the inscription that works with davinci 17, does not work, just black squares and a video with circles!
Hi, Im sorry about the inconvenience. Have you installed the project as shown in the video tutorial? Also please meke sure you have updated Davinci to the latest version. The project does work with Davinci 17, but as always theres a chance for things not to work as intended due to a few reasons which can be resolved
Hi, I like the look of the titles but can’t really use them because a don t manage to change the lenght … is there an easy way to make them longer or shorter ? thanks
Hi, sorry for the incovenience. I made you a little tutorial showcasing how to do this: https://youtu.be/tvnFCdVp1u4
You’ll basically need to a “Keyframe Stretcher” node in Fusion, between the title’s setup and the output node, as shown in the tutorial video.
Then you need to type in the keyframe range. This basically means between which frames the animation should be retimed. This lets you have the in and out animations untouched – with their original timings, if you want to retain that. Then only the middle part of the tittle gets retimed.
If you don’t want this, just enter 0 at start and then the last frame of the animation. (lets say animation is 149 frames long – then you should type in 0 and 149) – then all of the animation will be retimed to your new duration.
I hope this helps! If something is still unclear please let me know, thanks
P.S. this method can be used on other title templates aswell – if they’re missing this retiming feature.
I created this template long time ago, and at the time I wasn’t even aware of this functionality.. But now that I know, I’ll make sure to update this template with that functionality already enabled sometime in the near future.
I doesn’t work for me. I downloaded and tried to open the file as it was shown in the tutorial. But I don’t see any title nor any color. I use the latest version – Davinci17. I need help ASAP!
Ok I figured out the problem. The issue was the fonts. After I open the fusion tab and tried to change the font, I could see the text. And I downloaded the font, and it did work just fine, and didn’t even needed to go and change the font. So, you can give this solution to other people who is having problems with using your template.
Just wanted to let you know. And thanks for the work you put together.
Sorry for your inconvenience, and for replying so late! But I’m very glad that you managed to find the solution. I wasn’t even aware that not changing the font could cause such issues.. and that the solution was so simple
Thank you very much for sharing this revalation, it will be a great help to many with the same problem!!!
You’re most welcome. The only issue I have now is the duration of the text’s. I would like to have control over the duration of the text also to be able to change the animation speed. Some animations is very fast. And I really need to slow it down.
Also I can give you another hint regarding your templates. It’s actually possible to copy the titles from your project to whichever project you want. The problem is the BG you included for the TEXT. If the BG node has been deleted from the fusion page it can be copied and used in another project. You don’t have to copy another project in to your project only. Just so you know.
Hi, for fixing the timing issue you can try this method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvnFCdVp1u4
Of adding keyframe stretcher node to a titles macro file, between the macro node and output node. Then in stretch start type in 0, and at the stretch end – whatever frame the animation ends at. So for example, 180 frames animation would have 0 and 180 as its stretch numbers. Then all of the text animations will be stretched out / slowed down according to how much longer you make them.
As for copying the titles, yes it’s possible that way, but I figure the titles would be too basic without any graphics (and so would even get approved on videohive) sooo that’s how they need to be for now..
But you gave me a good idea to include separate macro files in my next projects
Thanks for your reply. I actually had watched that video and tried it. I noticed that the way shown in the video only let’s me to change the duration of the clip but not the actual animation speed. And the way you described is just too complicated that It would be just easier to create a new TEXT+ node and animate it.
I am not asking for a refund since I used it 2 or 3 of the title, since the speed of the animation was good enough to fit my project. But overall It is not that handy and useful of a structure as a template. Because you buy and purchase and buy templates so you could easily and fast get things done. Not that you would create even more steps and make things more complicated.
But overall, I appreciate your time and effort. Cheers!
Well I definitely get your points, and thanks for the constructive critique!
But if you still want to re-time the titles you can try this: https://youtu.be/RNK_vJHQWLI
(I basically select all keyframes and then easily re-time them with the box – then when the title animation is longer than the title duration I just make the title longer and boom – there’s a slower animation then
Additionally, you can retime every single title separately if you expand the macro file in spline window, and then use this same retiming technique on each text separately – but that’s for more advanced users I guess)
As for templates in general, you usually get what you see along with what’s described in the project’s description. Mine didn’t mention any duration-changing features, nor animation speed altering capabilities. So maybe this time there was just a mismatch of expectations and my project just wasn’t the best fit for you in all aspects, unfortunately.
Even though I obviously understand that having all of the above features would be great for clients and for me as an author, but sometimes they are just not feasible or can’t be done in a “one press – magic happens” way, as much as I would like that to be the case.
As for the structure of the project in general, right now Davinci only allows for two types of templates: 1. Simpler titles, that can be installed into the Davinci titles panel, or 2. Fancier, more complex titles that can’t be installed that way, and need to be imported via the “dynamic project switching” feature. So we can’t yet have the best variant that would be the combination of those two projects and what I can feel you are describing when you mention your usability frustrations :/
But here’s to hoping that this get’s somehow improved in the future, as I would love easier Davinci titles installation – cause then my clients would be much happier
So yeah, thanks again for your comments, it was really nice to chat with you
Is this pack available in the Titles section of DVR with preview yet without needing to import it each time? Thanks
Hi, you have to import this project using the “dynamic project switching” feature. Currently you can’t just drag it in from the Davinci panel.
Thanks for letting me know. If i can make a suggestion, because I like the look of this pack. I have a few titles, so having them all stored in DVR, so I can preview them makes it much easier and likely to use.
Thanks for your nice words! And yep, I totally understand, and I would have created the project this way if not for Davinci Resolve technical limitations..
Only the most basic of designs can be created this way. Animations using more complex effects need to be structured differently – especially if you want to retain the customisability of the template. But anyways, hopefully this will change with future Davinci Resolve updates
With your product is it possible to use only the titles over our projects and not use the included backgrounds?
Hi, yes of course! The preview images are not even included in the project, and the colorfull background blurs can be turned off.
Hi I read all the instructions I looked at all youtube tutorials but your subtitles on davinci 17 I did not run a pity I liked
Hi, I’m sorry that the project isn’t working properly for you. But what is going wrong exactly? Did you manage to install the project as shown in the tutorial video? Were there issues with importing the titles into your project or something else? Thanks!
I did it exactly according to the video instructions. I absolutely don’t see text just colored shadows. I opened it in fushion but nothing but darkness. that is, I only did it in the author’s original project. However, I can see that other users of version 17 had similar problems.
I see, a very few users indeed have problems with Davinci version 17 and I’m not yet sure what causes the problem for them. In the meantime, perhaps you could download Davinci version 16? The project should work just fine with it
I will definitely not go to the lower version 17 I have many improvements but I will ask for money back
I see, again so sorry that I wasn’t able to help you in this case.
this pack do not work on davinci resolve 17-can I get a refund so I can buy something else???? I have 3 day traying to make it work- I tray every possible way. I love this website but this is making me think twice
Hi, I’m sorry for the inconvenience. But this pack does work with DaVinci Resolve 17.
What exactly seems to be not working? Did you try installing the pack exactly as shown in the “How To Use Video Tutorial” found in the “Help” folder? Or maybe you are trying to import these titles into your other projects? (you need to use the “dynamic project switching” feature – by first opening this titles project and them importing your project into mine and then copy-pasting the titles from my projects timeline into your project’s timeline)
the text sample are not showing--its only showing the lens flares…..the text are missing
Are you running on the latest version of davinci 17? And also did you install it the way shown in the help video? This step is very important.
yes I am….
Well then I don’t know what’s wrong.. If you want you can submit a refund request here: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202821460-Can-I-Get-A-Refund-
Again sorry that it didn’t work properly for you.
How do I use this in a Project that already exists?
To do so, you need to import your project into my titles project, (but not the other way around). To do so, use the Dynamic Project Switching feature. Then you should be able to select a title from all titles preview timeline of my project, and copy/paste it into your projects timeline without any errors.
To use this technique please follow this awesome tutorial here: https://youtu.be/v8S9Wpgykqk
Thanks for the reply.
I tried copy and pasting… I get the handy media offline error.
how do get the media to link up?
So you first imported your project into mine with Dynamic Project Switching? If so, then try dragging the titles from this sidebar into your projects timeline: https://i.imgur.com/Qlrk4L7.png
Let me know if this works for you
That workflow is not ideal. Can you not build it so that these are usable in other projects?
This doesn’t work how I thought. Apologies. How do I instigate getting a refund?
Yeah I know this isn’t ideal, and I’m sorry for the inconveniences this causes. I wanted the titles to have external graphics + have color controls for it, and so for that, I needed to structure the project like this.
This is due to how Davinci currently handles adding external media, and color controls settings for templates. If interested, you can read more about this “problem” here: https://forums.envato.com/t/introducing-the-davinci-resolve-category/342515/27?u=atamotion
This template is usable in other projects, if you first import your project into my template project, as described above. For new projects, you can copy-paste the template project and then import your new project into a fresh copy of these titles. Another way is to “finish” the title in my project and then export them as a .mov file with transparency, or as a simple .mp4 video and then import this video into your project & then overlay that title footage on your own videos.
It’s not ideal, but hopefully, with time Davinci will change the way it handles such projects so that user workflows could be much more straightforward
I understand…but that just won’t fit the way I work. I will contact envato/videohive. Thanks.
I see, well thanks for giving my template a try anyways, and all the best!
Hi, I need help, I downloaded the package but I don’t understand why I can’t view them
Hi, sorry for the inconvenience. Did you install it the way it’s shown in the tutorial? If so, how exactly are you trying to view them, and at which stage of using them do you become unable to view them?
Thank you very much I managed, just one question, is there no possibility to save them under the effects library under titles? or do you always have to recharge them?
Very glad to hear that! Saving them to forever appear under titles isn’t an option right now unfortunately. BUT, you can easily import them into your projects (but not the other way around),by using the Dynamic Project Switching feature to open/import your projects timeline into my template project. Then you should be able to select a title from from my project and then easily copy/paste it into your project.
I hope this helps!

I have tried this a few times, re-downloaded and no luck. I get the same thing, just the flashing colors but no actual titles. I am running Resolve Studio 17 on macOS Big Sur 11.2.1. All the other Envato things I purchased today work and with my deadline looming I now have to find titles elsewhere.
Hey, so sorry to hear this. Is there any way you could get a hold of Davinci verison 16? These should work just fine with that. It seems this might be a problem with version 17 for you, that I’ll need to look into.
Btw did you install it the way show in the tutorial? I know sometimes we all get carried away or are in a rush and miss the fundamental parts : D
Update: it seems that Davinci Resolve 17 (beta “8”) version is known for having the issues you mentioned above with some projects. But anyways the final 17 version has been released a few days ago. Please update to it and then see if these problems still accour for you
I just downloaded and don’t get any titles, just flashing colors! Also, if I do get them working how do I actually add these titles into an existing project?
To do so, you need to import your project into my titles project, (but not the other way around). To do so, use the Dynamic Project Switching feature. Then you should be able to select a title from all titles preview timeline of my project, and copy/paste it into your projects timeline without any errors.

great template, keep it up!
Thank you! I’m just wondering how did you find this template? Cause it seems all davincni templates are currently hidden and I can’t seem to find a way to see what other authors have uploaded before the public release
