(iMac 2017 – 32 Gigs Ram) Im using TRANSITION PUNCH 5.0 and Im actually going through and compiling a list when I can’t get by it. So for instance I place the Transform effect titles 4. (Simple Zoom – OUT) and no matter what I do I cannot render it or export this section of my video. I take it off and all of a sudden its no problem. This has happened now on a few effects that I like. I tried new sequence – I tried new Project – nothing gets by this? Any suggestions?
Hello! Thank you so much for the kind words! Very Happy to help! So, it sounds like you may have a (OpenCL) issue. So, some effects inside Adobe, when stacked and compiled, do not work with Open CL. Rather, when using TransitionPunch, you want to use Metal in your Graphics Card Settings. For Adobe Premiere Pro, go to File > Project Settings > General > Video Rendering and Playback, set the Renderer to Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration
Now, some steps in Premiere you can try to see if this resolves you’re conflict.
In your Graphics Card settings, lets also try and bypass the Graphics Cards all together, and render using Software.
If you could try looking into your graphics card, and first try Metal. And if that issue continues to happen, try and go to Software Only.

I believe I always use metal but will check. Software only will try. I’ll get back. Thanks ....getting back to you now…..I changed it to Software only and that does it but software only is so sloooooooooooowwwwww. Metal is alway on by default now in premiere and really sped up my world. Any way we can fix these for Metal? Sounds like a big lift but I wouldn’t know. Thank you again for some great tools.
Hello sjeunson! My Pleasure to help anyway I can. So,as mentioned, Premiere requires Metal on specific Effects Stacking. The”Software” option usually will bypass the issues some graphics cards and systems will have with Premiere Pro Effects Stacking.
Now, the other thing I was thinking was a Premiere Pro Preference Reset and Chace cleaning. Sometimes the cache build-up in the Premiere can cause conflicts, and preferences can become corrupt. So, to delete preferences:
Hold down: Alt/Options on Mac or Alt on (Windows). Keep holding down the Alt key, and click on the Premiere Pro app icon to open it. In a few seconds, it asks you “Are you sure you want to reset your preferences?”. Click OK.
And for Cache, on Mac go to Premiere > Preferences > Media Cache. If you’re on a PC, go to Edit > Preferences > Media Cache.
I find sometimes in my system, doing these actions helps a lot of issues I encounter with Premiere, whether it’s render issues, playback issues…etc

So, if you could download the latest updated folder, inside you will have all the latest files. All CINEPACK Elements are now inside the main CINEPUNCH folder, locally, inside the last folder title “z.CINEPUNCH reference”. Those will be lighter compression files.
For much higher UHD compressions, you will have access to all the Super UHD versions and full packs inside the folder title CINEPACKS.

I would like to know the difference with the linked package. I know that one is a premium package, and the other is a combination of After Effects and Premier, but the price is the same, so it is confusing.

Hello CINEPUNCH. Great Pack. I am having an issue with transition pack. The preset Transition Punch works well when accessed through the effects tab but TransitionPunch 5.0 is troubling me. Whenever I drag and drop an effect, it starts editing the thumbnail of that video instead of the underlying video. Sometimes the 2nd transition (out of the 2 in an effect) doesn`t work. And sometimes even the effect changes. I see how the effect looks on Transition Punch Blue and Red images. But after I apply the effect, some of them doesn`t look the same. The preset’s working fine. Is this something from my end? I am using PP 2018 version.

So, regarding the thumbnail, make sure you have the V1 track unhighlighted, or the V2 and above highlighted.

Hello! Very happy to help! So, there are some previews of MotionPunch if you scroll down the main page of CINEPUNCH. However, not all 250+. So, they will work on any video, image, background, title you place them over. So, MotionPunch presets are inside the TransitionPunch 5.0 Premiere Build.
Instead of placing them between two shots like you would a transition, you place them on the beginning or end of your video, image, background…etc If you have a few minutes, here is the TransitionPunch 5.0 overview.

Hi. I got CINEPUNCH and I love it so far. Having a small hiccup. I can’t seem to figure out how to remove the text from the transitions. i.e. using a glitch transition and it says “TRANSITION PUNCH” in big letters. How do I remove that?

Hello! Thank you for the info! So, I’m not able to see if you actually have the V1 track unhighlighted, or the V2 and above highlighted. I see one category of tracks properly highlighted. However, if you take your mouse and extend the area of the tracks out so you can see both Video and Audio categories. Here is a picture. I circled the corner you want to pull and stretch.

But if you can expand your timeline track pad and confirm if both tracks are properly highlighted that would be great.
I can always hop on to your system today and check your settings if that helps. But I think this may be the issue. Lets see if your Video and Audio tracks are highlighted once you expand the track pad.

Apple updated FCPX recently and after install of the update all the CINEPUNCH installs have disappeared, I assume overwritten by the updated application. I have installed them all again. Is this how it supposed to work, reinstall CINEPUNCH after every app update?

However, I recently read about Big Sur update that is apparently wiping out FCPX plugins on other developers across the board. So, it was a thought in the back of my mind that I hope it does not happen with the CINEPUNCH plugins.
So, just so I can note your case, you had all the plugins installed, and updated to Big Sur, and the plugins got wiped out?
So, just to note, there has never been a need to update and re-install the plugins after Apple OS updates. However, as mentioned, I know this has been a recent issue with other developers of the new Big Sur OS wiping all plugins out inside FCPX and Motion.
So, just to confirm, did you update to Big Sur? or was it just a regular security update in the OS you currently have?
Sorry that happened. I’m going to start researching more on the situation with FCPX, updates, and plugins.

I discovered your CINEPUNCH bundle on Saturday 12/12/20 (4 days ago depending on when you’re reading this!) and purchased it.
Sunday and yesterday I spent watching all your vids and carrying out the DL’s and installs. I had installed all effects, gens and transitions and LUTMASTER. All working great.
Today my system has auto-updated FCPX. When I opened it I had a bunch of red missing file screens in the test project I was doing with CINEPUNCH.
I went back through the installation file path to the effects etc folders and found that all CINEPUNCH content had gone.
That’s what I can tell you for now, does that give you enough info?
Oh Wow! Yes, thank you! This helps a lot. So, actually, it was not so much the Operating System update, it was FCPX update.
So, I did a quick google on that, and it seems others experienced the same issue with other plugins and title packs, whereas apparently, for some folks, update to 10.4.9 deleted everything and have to re-install.

So, both pages are identical. They are just in different pages, one Premiere Pro and one After Effects, since the Bundle contains tools for both Premiere Pro and After Effects.
