Hi, miko I have a problem with particle_slideshow. I can’t get it to work, Trapcode asks me for a migration, but when I do it I don’t see anything. I get this text in Designer: “Due to a know issue, preview data for some layers can be inaccessible when chosen in the Designer. Selecting the layer prior to opening the Designer will fix the problem”
Hello Bariego. Do You have newest Trapcode Suite? I have Particular Version 4.1.5 and everything works great in AE CC2019 and AE CC2020. I had a different problem and wrote to Red Giant Support but I’m waiting for an answer for the second week … Maybe there is a problem with their product.

Yes I have the new Trapcode Suite. when opening it asks me for a migration, the machine thinks and seems to be doing it well, but then nothing is seen.
Could You install older version of Particular? I am waiting all the time for support to sell me an appropriate update. I don’t know how long it will take …

Well, I have each upgrade and a new version bought up to this one. I suspect you only have the latest one? Now I also want to update to the latest one, but I’m still waiting for a response from Red Giant Support …

“Hi, Looks like there’s a service update for the Trapcode Suite getting pushed out soon that should remedy this behavior, as it seems related to migrations, expressions, and linked layers/comps for several users. Sorry it’s taken as long as it has and I’ll keep you in the loop when it goes out—or just keep an eye on the Application Manager the moment it’s available and install it accordingly. I have purchased Trapcode 16 and activated the Particular plug-in but don’t see the effect in the CC2019 file. Any know compatibility issues with newer versions of TC?
