Sorry for the late reply. Yes, you can use your own files, but depending on what options you want to use, it may need to be extracted into layers in some way.
You can use it as background as one image, but to create the 3d effects FROM your image, it has to have layers.
You can send me an email through my profile page with a screenshot of your image and describe what you want to do, I can then advise you better.

Thank you Eva. I did read that before asking my question and couldn’t find a proper answer, if anything, it only complicated more, since they regard one video as end product, regardless of license.
I’m not planning on selling these videos or to make them for other people. It’s just a creative way to populate my own social media. Can you please guide me through this?

Hi! Thank you for purchasing Paper World. You can make the scene bigger, sure. For background use any of the Backgrounds in folder 06 – BACKGROUNDS. Select Background layer and press S to reveal Scale property. Turn off Expression by clicking on the equal symbol. Change Scale value to 100%. Hi, I am not a after effect user but a game developer. In the Template preview Video at time 48 seconds https://youtu.be/-OpWo2STmAc?t=48 I like that and which i want to put in my game. is this possible to export those content all different layer with their effects?. So i can use it on games. then i can buy other wise no means to buy this content if i can’t use it or export it for games.

Thanks for writing. From After Effects you can render and export video formats, but as I don’t know about game development, I’m not sure if that’s what you want.
In the scene you refer to, the tree, fog and effect layers are composited into 1 scene, which make up the end look. I think it would not look the same when just layered, not composited.

in game development I will need everything in separate layer in png format. Is there possibilities to export trees of different layers (front layer blurred tree, second layer blurred tree, third layer blurred three and so on ) with containing effects to png and background separately. is this possible to export?

This is one of the most unique products I’ve seen come out in Videohive over the past year or two. Great Job!!! With Paper World our aim was to make a tool that creators can use for animating any storyline you can think of, with no limits. So yes, it is easy to use any elements with it.
