Hi, right now the Arabic language isn’t available, only left to right languages are currently supported. I’m working on an update which will also include support for right to left languages, but it will take a while.

Hi! Yes, you can use animated emojis inside a Photo.Message. In my tutorial I showed how you can use animated emoji with this item. See 9:28

If you aren’t using features like names in a group chat or 3-dots animation on an incoming message, then you can just disable the expression on the “Source Text” property, and then disable the “Color” animator of the message. After that you’ll be able to change the style for the parts of the message text.

Hello Adrian, thanks! This item copies the way real messengers work, so by default only incoming messages have avatars and names. You can attach them to outgoing messages too, but you’ll have to do it manually.

First, select an outgoing message and adjust its position with the “Adjust Distance” effect, then place the name and avatar layers next to the message and parent them to it. After that the name and avatar will stay attached to that message.

You just need to go inside the “Message.Photo” composition, select the “Message” layer and press Enter to edit its name. Then you need type the person’s name in brackets.

For example: Message(Jerry)

Hello, Sabrosinho! I’m sorry you had this experience with the item. I understand that render time of this project may be long and sometimes even frustrating. Especially if you have a lot of messages. I hope I can explain why this happens.

This project is built on Ae expressions. Expressions make it possible for this project to be flexible and reduce user’s handwork to almost zero. But they have one major flaw: they don’t work as fast as we all want them to. If we could get all that flexibility, automation and fast render times, that would be an ideal situation, but you always have to sacrifice something.

I believe that slow render time can be compensated by the hard work of expressions, that automatically create many little animations for you. Because it’s still going to be much faster and easier than animating it manually.

However, if you couldn’t finish working with the project because of the slow rendering, you can request a refund, I will approve it.

No worries, I completely understand. I finally managed to finish A 5 MINUTES VIDEO!!! But yeah, took forever and had to work on the minimum resolution and always on draft mode. However, there you have my 5 stars.

Hello! The project only partially supports languages that are written right-to-left. Here are the answers: 1. You can write messages in Hebrew, if you switch the After Effects text engine to “South Asian and Middle Eastern”. Messages will be written from right to left, but keyboard text field will remain left-to-right. Tell me if you need instructions for this, I’ll gladly help.

You can add sounds manually. The help file has a link to all the sounds used in the preview. The Messenger sound is there as well.

No, the keyboard only works with text.

Hello! You need go to Composition -> Composition Settings and change the resolution to a 16:9. With this ratio, you’ll probably want to turn off the keyboard and the navigation bar. Hide them by clicking on the “eye” icon.

Hello! Unfortunately, After Effects doesn’t support emoji as symbols on text layers. What you can do is import emoji as images and then parent them to a message layer, like I did it in the tutorial(timecode 04:05).
