I’m new to luma matte and track matte in Premiere Pro. The instructions don’t make sense to me. I am unable to use the product. I’m very disappointed.

Regarding your disappointment. I try to make all of my products as easy to use as possible. Certain effects such as this transition require additional knowledge of the program. Knowledge of mattes is a requisite for many effects. Learning features like this will only make you stronger within your editing program.
