what music did you use for this project?
Hey, you can find the music on AudioJungle: Travel On – ThisIsJBC, Link: https://audiojungle.net/item/travel-on/23406575
Hello, Thanks for the project, it’s easy to use But it’s very heavy, even with a simple 3 color map on my MacBook M1
One question, how do you edit the travel lenght? it is too fast I understood with the tutorial that you can manage the speed of the travel line element but it doesn’t seem to change…
Best regards
Hi, thank you very much for the purchase.
I’m sorry about the slow working project. It’s a compromise for the detailed vectors included. The best way to go about it is to render the maps first as images, and then work the other element animations on top.
As for the speed of the animated graphics, you can change it as you would a normal video footage. If it seems that it’s not working, might be because of the heavy maps again. Try rendering them. Then import and work the lines on top of the map image not the map mogrt.
Hope it works out. If you have any other questions let me know. If by any chance you don’t want to keep the project feel free to ask for a refund. No problem at all.
Thanks again.
Thank U for the reply,
“Map render as an image” do you mean: - Set the map color, design and everything and then export it as a PNG and import it again as a PNG and use it like the base map? - For the line duration, using “speed&duration” at 50% to have it slower makes jerky movements of the object Nice project, good quality but needs some improvement…
Is the After Effect project more customizable and works better in After?
Best regards
Yes, that’s what I meant for the map. Set it how you want it and export as PNG. Then import it back and you’ll speed up the whole workflow.
As for the line making jerky movements, that’s surprising. Should not be doing that. Try with the PNG map method see if it makes any difference.
This is the best I could do to adapt this project for Premiere Pro. It has its limitations because of the heavy vector files. The After Effects version is certainly more customisable and faster. Also some newer MOGRT map versions I have made have some improvements, but still large vector files aren’t exactly easy to work on Premiere Pro.
If there’s anything else I can do let me know.
Thanks again !! It’s working way faster with the PNG map tip Still the issue with the line, especially the object (plane) following the line, as using speed duration at 50%, the plane movement is jerky (like when you slow down a shot shooted at normal speed) Even if I try flow movement or interlace in the settings of “Speed & Duration”
I just gave it a try myself. I’m not able to replicate the jerky movement at 50%. It all looks fine smooth animation, as it should normally do. Maybe try changing the “Time Interpolation:” to “Frame Blending” or “Optical Flow”.
I noticed that slowing down to 25% the animation doesn’t look as smooth anymore. But still there’s no jerky movement.
I purchased this product, but it is too slow to use. I sent a refund email to the customer center, but it was not processed, so I am leaving a message. Request a refund.
Hey, I’m sorry the template hasn’t been useful to you. As mentioned in the description, it is a heavy project that runs slow, and probably it’s not for everybody.
Just write to support/customer center again mentioning this conversation and my approval for the refund.
Unfortunately the refund process is not handled by me/authors directly.
Thank you for your understanding. If you need anything else just let me know, or send me an email using the form in my Profile: https://videohive.net/user/framestore
I want to congratulate you for the amazing job. i really love this toolkit. I’m working on Grill n smoker site and I want this one for the blog. How can I buy this one?
Purchasing this item is pretty straight forward, just like every other item on this market. However, if I understood you correctly, you can’t use this template on a website or blog. It’s a video animation toolkit for Adobe Premiere Pro.
Thank you
Hi I have the same problem as “MonikaMeier” 7 months ago. “The background color even if the box is not ticked will be shown in the color shown in the background color field” . So the second layer is all the time over the first layer. And this is also when I use your hints. Pleas help.
It is the moment at 4:10 in the tutorial when you deactivate the background button. Your screen turns black. My screen and the screen of “MonikaMeier” stays white?!? That’s the problem…
Hello, and sorry for the inconvenience you’re having with the project.
Unfortunately I never found a solution to the issue and still haven’t, mostly because I have been unable to replicate the problem. The only other thing that comes to my mind is that it could be a memory/cache problem. Try testing if emptying the cache makes any difference.
You can open the .mogrt files in After Effects and PreRender any map designs you want. Save them as simple images and import them to Premiere where you can place the lines and finish the rest of the animation. It’s the only workaround I can think of, otherwise, since I can’t figure out what is happening or find a solution, you’re entitled to a refund. Contact Envato Support at this link: https://videohive.net/refund_requests/new and show them our conversation as a reference.
If you can, please let me know what kind of operating system are you using? Is it MacOS? I want to figure out if what kind of bug this could be, and what does it relate to.
Thanks!
Hi thank you for the fast answer. Unfortunately it is not the cache problem.
But I find another problem: When I do the line-setup, there is no travel icon!!! Same as the background -> Activate or not nothing happens…
I’m using Win10 64bit, Laptop, Core i7 9th gen, 16gb ram, Geforce RTX 2080.
I do not have after effects…
Guess I got the problem: I think it’s an performance problem. When I render the part of the project, I can see the travel icon for example … Oo
That’s interesting. The performance issue does make sens for the Maps, but it’s strange that it is happening on the line animations.
Thank you for your feedback anyway. And still if you find the project unsatisfying, please ask for a refund. Sorry again for the inconvenience.
i meant to buy the after effects version. Is there anyway I can switch them out or return this one?
Please contact Envato Support for more info: :https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/requests/new but I don’t believe these is a way to do it, at least I as an author can not switch licenses.
Hello!
I’ve just purchased the template, but it’s impossible to work on the project. I gave it a try because my machine specs are pretty high (i7, 32 GB of RAM, an 8 GB Radeon card). but the memory was at 80 percent in about an hour, and workflow was impossible even with your recommendations a few comments up (using a layer with all the features turned off). I guess I’ll need to try the AE version.
Can we arrange a refund by any chance? I can provide the screenshots if needed.
Thanks a bunch! Cheers,
Jure from Slovenia
Hello Jure, I have no problem with the refund, but as explained in the comments above it’s Envato Support that handles refunds.
If you just need the maps without the extra designs included in the After Effects version, then you can open the .mogrt in After Effects just like you would open a normal project. You’ll find there every control and everything you will need to customize and work with the Maps, same as in Pr or the original AE version.
Thank you!
How do you do zooms on the footage. Adding effects to the clip loses resolution. But editing controls in the Essential Graphics tab just zooms in or out on the current selection with no option for queuing up keyframes.
Essential Graphics don’t allow adding keyframes and animation. You are limited to the animation you can add on top with “Motion” in Effects Controls.
On your own template preview, you do a zoom on the map. How do you achieve this without losing quality? And if it can’t be done in Premiere, can I purchase the after effects file and have the premiere one refunded?
Yes, the animation on :55 sec of the preview shows the zoom as an illustration on how you can come close to any country during editing. I understand how that might have been confusing, so I do apologize.
That animation was created in After Effects. If you are familiar with After Effects, you can open the mogrt files in there, and create any similar animation with keyframes yourself. There are no limits to what you can do to the project on AE, and you will not lose quality.
The After Effects version of this project does include that exact same animation in the file, and I would be OK with you exchanging the purchase. The only problem is that you would need to make a refund request through Envato Support; since authors on VideoHive don’t handle refunds. Link: https://videohive.net/refund_requests/new
Sorry for the inconvenience
Very painfully slow on my computer. Takes about 30 minutes to render 30 seconds.
I am using a 2017 Mac Book Air with 8 GB of Ram and an onboard graphics card. I’m sorry, making it so huge isn’t a good enough excuse. You need a low-rest 1080p version available.
I’m sorry to hear about the unpleasant experience. As I have noted in the description, this is to be expected even on well equipped workstations. I’m surprised it has worked at all on a MacBook Air, check the support tab for minimum specs.
Also thank you for the suggestion. I have considered it before, but the problem is not the optimization. This same project, with the same maps works normally on After Effects, it’s just the way Motion Graphics Templates and vector assets are currently processed on Premiere, that causes the slow workflow.
However, even for the After Effects version I would not suggest working on it with a MacBook Air. You need more Ram and a more powerful processor.
Again, I’m sorry. There isn’t anything I can do to improve the template for the moment.
For those reading, there is a pretty nuts way around this.
Load up the map, go get a cup of tea as it loads. Once its loaded, change all the colours, names etc. Make a sandwich as it loads Then save the project (it will crash often), Then position the map that you like for the animation, say over Europe or USA. then IN/OUT one frame, then export, PNG Bang you now have a high quality photo of the map
Save and close. Open a new project. Load the map in, then place all the travel line animations, dots and text on top. It works super fast and you can end up making a great animation.
At the end of the day, its the map that takes the most to load but with a little planning you can essentially create the map as a simple image.
And yes, all done on my shitty 128 Gb hard drive, 8 GB ram, 2017 MacBook Air
Hi there, does this map allow for cities or just countries?
Hi,
You can only highlight countries in the map. In other words you can select which country in the world you want to have a different color from that of the map.
However you can place the pointers and the line anywhere you want.
I hope this explains your question. For anything else don’t hesitate to ask or you can check out the YouTube tutorial linked in the description.
Thank you!
Hello, I’ve bought this toolkit couple months ago, & I did my project. Today I started to making another one, but after exporting there is a mistake Screenshot: https://pastenow.ru/6N0DU
Please help thats urgent
If the template worked for the first project, then the problem is probably not with the template.
I did some research and this seems like a recurring Premiere render error. Here are a few solution for you to checkout.
Link on youtube: https://youtu.be/ezfqHHwBM60
Adobe forum discussion: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2281154
Also please consider that if your are using the template for more than one project not related to each-other (meaning that they are for different clients), then you need to purchase a separate license for each new job/client.
You can read more about it here: https://videohive.net/licenses/standard
Thank you.
why does your template complatly burn my computer? I have a pretty big configuration and this preset needs a lot of ressources. Any change on the maps take a really long time to be applied. Is it really optimized for Premiere pro?
The Template is optimized for Premiere Pro, but it is resource heavy as the detailed vector map take some time to initially load.
As a minimum I have tested on a quad core CPU, SSD hard drive, and 12 GB of RAM.
Regardless of your computer specs I would suggest lowering the playback resolution to 1/4 and offloading apps that might be occupying you RAM.
I’m sorry but, i’m on a I7 8th Generation with 16go RAM, and a 8go graphic card. So i’m in the spec i nedd. I’t really disapointing, cause you did a great job but it really need to be optimized. Thanx.
Those specs should be more than enough, I’m sorry to hear about the disappointing experience.
As for optimization, there isn’t much I can do besides compromising the quality of the Vector Maps. I have done everything that the Motion Graphics setup allows on Premiere Pro at the moment (in terms of Optimization).
Technical suggestions (like checking your RAM allocation on Premiere, or running the project on a SSD hard drive, etc) might be futile at this point, but if you’ll allow me I can give you some workflow tips if you still want to use the project;
- After you have customized and decided on the look of the map (before moving to animation) duplicate the Map Layer/Track, hide the Original one, and on the duplicate hide every Map Feature except for one (for example the “WORLD SHAPE”, which is also one of the lightest layers on the Map). This will allow you to work faster, and at the end, before you render you can turn on the Original Map Layers/Tracks.
This is definitely not ideal, but its just an idea since I can not figure out why a PC with those specs has such a hard time.
Anyway, if you want a refund I have no problem approving it. You can request one here: https://videohive.net/refund_requests/new and show support this conversation as proof of my approval.
I don’t want you or anyone to keep a project of mine that they can’t use.
Just make sure to delete the project and not use any part of it, as the license you purchase would not be valid after the refund.
I have 2019 and it didn’t work. I can’t drop it on timeline.
You need the latest version of CC 2019. So even if you have 2019, just check for updates and install them and everything should work fine.
If the problem still persists after the update, let me know what error message do you get so that I can understand what is the problem and try to help you.
Thank you!
“file format not supporeted” when im add it by “install motion graphics” i can’t drag and drop it on timeline
Hi again,
1. Please check to see if you have the latest version of Premiere Pro 2019.
Open Premiere and go to menu Help->About Premiere Pro..
You should see “Version 13.1.0 (Build 193)” or anything newer. If you don’t, on the same menu Help->Updates.. you can install updates and everything will work as advertised.
2. Check if you’re importing the Motion Graphics right. See also the beginning of the tutorial: https://youtu.be/3OG91-LsAH4?t=22
If drag and dropping doesn’t work (to install the Motion Graphics) then try using the small rectangle with a plus sign at the bottom of the Essential Graphics panel.
You can read the same installation steps described in this Adobe Forum post: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2437443
I hope this helps!
Hello I bought your template, i cannot add mogrt files to the timelane from esential graphivs bin
Hello,
Make sure you have the latest Premiere Pro CC 2019 installed (if you’re not sure open your Creative Cloud app and check for updates).
Thank you.
I have 2018 version I thought that it will work
It only works with Premiere Pro CC 2019 (or newer versions in the future), as it is mentioned in the description.
Hello I want to buy you product. I m amateur video editor what version is better for Premier Pro or AfterEffects? And also what is minimal software requirements?
To work on this template you need the latest version of Premiere Pro CC 2019. If you have Creative Cloud installed just make sure that Premiere Pro is up to date with the latest version and you’ll be OK.
Thanks!
& what about pc requirements? Minimal ram, processor?
That’s up to you. A fast processor and more ram will obviously make your work faster on this template as with everything else.
The lowest sepcs I’ve tested the template on, is a laptop with intel i7-7700K, 12 GB of RAM and 256 SSD.
& what is the difference between After Effects & Premier Pro versions? What is simplier for amateur?
If you want to get started working with animations, I’d say go for the After Effects version. It’s more flexible and more customizable.
But it’s still up to you. If you want something to help you decide, you can watch the tutorials for both versions and see which one you might be more comfortable working with.
