Only issue is that the long file name makes it unrecognizable by FCP. Would help future customers to upload a new file to video hive with a shorter folder and file name.
Dear Videohive team, I bought the template “videohive-ERX2a0Ix-fcpx-digital-parallax-slideshow” from you. I use this for an 8-part film project and only ever have to change one lettering in the last frame of the animation. Unfortunately, Final Cut suddenly no longer recognizes the template and the entire animation is gone. I can reinstall the template and then start from scratch, but I never get it exactly like the first videos. Is there a possibility to relink the template and take over the old settings and file paths???
Hi there, I am a first time user and fan from Belgium. I have a problem when using this template. The clip in placeholder 4 goes into transition to the clip in placeholder 5. The problem is that clip number 4 stays too long on screen so that ii is mixed witch clip number 5. Is this fixable?

Thank you for the quick answer. I hereby send you the screenshots. As you can see, the transition did not push the previous clip out of the screen. This happens only between clip 4 and clip 5. At al the other transitions everything looks perfect.

Could I use this template to create a 4K presentation? Do all the built-in graphics scale? I assume that if I upload into the template 4K media in a 4K timeline that it will work but I wanted to ask you just to be sure of this
Hi there, yes you can create also a 4K presentation but only with FCPX not for motion, and one more think it will take more time to rendering or editing your template,but it works fine and also gives you a good 4K output, hope you understand, if you have any other query please let us know.Thanks!
Hi i use fcpx 10.4.4 and when i work with slideshow, my computer becomes unresponsive, spinning wheel all the time. ok, i manage to edit what i want with a lot of patiente but export takes like 15h for 10sec slideshow, and computer blocks out every few few seconds for a few seconds, can not do nothing on him?

Although we ourselves use a low configuration mac to make sure the project runs okay on those kind of system, however it is possible that it takes time simply because this is a slideshow which involves lot of layer group to achieve the effect. I can barely understand you in the tutorial. I had to go to another type of video tutorial to figure out how to install this. You really need to redo this video. It is really poo rquality. The generator is fine, at least so far.
Also, I am not able to apply any images to the generator at all. not working for me. I have rebooted and still nothing.
I am working on an iMac Pro and this template is causing FCPX to display the beach ball like I have never seen before. There is no way I can work this slow. Is there a way to get a refund? I love the effects but it is just not practical to use.

Hi, I’m adding videos in the placeholders and they show as stills (no movement). What am I doing wrong?
The issue occurs with syncing your footage inside the placeholder , when you place a video inside the placeholder in final cut it won’t sync it properly according to your requirement , because video is based on the start of where the template begins not the placeholder. This is an FCPX limitation. If the template starts at 0:00 seconds and the drop zone appears at 5:00 seconds into it, wherever you click your start frame on your video will be offset by 5:00 seconds. Hi there, you can edit this template for e.g insert photos, text, color and stroke widths with fcpx no need for apple motion, make sure you have installed fcpx 10.3.1 or above in your mac OS. If you need anything else please let us know.Thanks!

Can I make it shorter and instead of 12 only use 6 images. When I try to cut, it just become faster.

Well FCP does not allow you to directly cut a generator layer as when you trying to do this it changes the duration of the template, A workaround is to first create your main generator layer into compound clip with right click on your template and select create a compound clip then you will able to cut your video according to your requirement, we hope it’s work for you, if you need anything else please let us know.

Thanks. I also have Apple Motion 5. Will that help. Yes, cutting a video clip might be a work around, but transition from one slide to other won’t me smooth.
Also it’s very resource hungry, it’s crashing FCPX on my newest Macbook Pro 2018.

We used motion version 5.3.1 to create this template, You can use this fcpx 10.3.1 and above, The template comes with a fcpx tutorial in fcpx version 10.4 latest one.
It terms of resources we use a iMac that has 12 gb ddr3 ram and It works fine without any crashing issue, I am assuming you use a higher configuration system than us, if you face any lag issue, we would recommend to install your fcpx again we hope your problem will be solved. You are right if you cut template layer from in between you can’t get a smooth transition. So if you want only 6 scene, cut first 6 scene and start your video from scene 7 your problem will be solved. Let us know if you need anything else.

what music is that? It’s not the one you linked to.
The link is correct, if you check the audio description, music has three version and we have also in tutorials included on how to synch the music with the template. Let us know if you have any more queries.
