With your help, we have created the videos with the magazine option using our images.
Now we would like to create one more with an overlay option, but the duration of our video is almost 17 seconds. It is 7 seconds more than the duration of the After Effects promo kit overlay.
Could you please tell us the steps that we have to follow to lengthen the duration of the overlay, so as the presence of the magazine reaches the length of our video? A small video of yours would be great but whatever you think will help us to achieve that is fine.

Hello, I would like to modify the page turning animation so that it looks like the book is opened around the center, not the first pages as shown in your video. Is this something included in your file already? Or is it a modification you would be able to provide (and then for what fee)?

Hi South11. I really need help and some guidance here. Im new on After Effects and all the tutorials I watched online are not able to address the questions I have. Can you please make a step by step tutorial on Youtube on how to use your Promo Kit? I did I test render on Quicktime and the only thing I see is the main setup page where the book spins (360 preview) and all the cover and inner pages that we need to replace are on the right side. 1) I dont think that is suppose to be part of the promo video. 2) Where are all the rest that is in the comp? (Call to Action and Template Layouts) If you could help asap, I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Hi Pelt47, unfortunately CS6 is the oldest version that this template is supported on. Here’s what it says on our listing:
After Effects Version CC 2015, CC 2014, CC, CS6
You will either have to update your after effects to one of the newer versions or contact Envato about getting a refund.

Hi zdtrader, it should be a fairly straightforward process. Just double click on the front cover in “___BOOK CONTROLS” comp, select the cover layer and replace it by dragging over an image over it while holding the ALT / Option key on your keyboard. Contact us directly if you’re having any trouble.
I bought this product, but none of the files will open for me. I tried to open them in Adobe After Effects CC2019. How can I get the files to open to start using?

Hi Trade4new, SFX for the promo video were pulled from a mix of different libraries, but the majority were from Motion Pulse by VideoCopilot.net which you can get here: https://www.videocopilot.net/products/motionpulse/

Hi, how many pictures or snap-shots pages can be placed in this Magazine promo kit?
Do you mean inside the book / magazine? I believe there are 4 inner pages that can be inserted. Bare in mind though that in the templates that are pre-built into this template all of the pages flick over rather quickly. You if you have basic knowledge of AE you should find it easy enough to slow that down and flip the pages one by one. Send me an email on support@southeleven.com if you have any further questions.

You can indeed. There’s a single colour background where you can easily change its colours as well as another 2 or 3 image based backgrounds where the book / magazine are placed on a desk.

Is there a way to have a book and different magazine coexist at the same time?
Absolutely. They’re actually both available in all of the End Frame comps so all you have to do is turn on both of the layers.
Can we able to change text color easily?
You can indeed. There’s no global text colour controls so you just pick your text and change its colour.

Not on this template, but there’s a PDF tutorial included with the project. I’d be happy to make one if you find it confusing at all.

Hi kbrataas, you can indeed. The whole projects is built 100% in After Effects, therefore each and every layer can be manipulated to your liking.

Hi there, the way the template is designed it opens as a traditional book. But its good point. I’ll see if we can build that functionality into the next version.
For now though it would require some knowledge of AE to flip the way the book opens. There are three key steps to achieve this:
1. You have to set book’s X scale to a negative value, so say change from 75% to -75%. 2. You have to flip book’s rotation to a negative value, so say change from 220 to -220. 3. And finally you’d have to put all of your page content flipped so that when the book gets flipped in your final comp, the content displays correctly.
As as can see there’s a couple of steps involved but it shouldn’t take more than 5mins if you know what you’re doing.

Hi there, great kit. Love it. However, the client is unhappy with the page turns for the inner pages. They want a different page on the back side of each page that opens. Is there a fix for this? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Once again great template!
