Hi. I noticed there is a frame or 2 where the caption disappears before going to the next line of text. How do I get make it so text never disappears from one frame to the next?
It’s really simple! Select the subtitles layer and then open the “Effects Control” Panel and change the “Flicker-Frames” Slider from 2 to 0.

It was working fine until right now. AE now freezes when I try to open the SF window and when it unfreezes the following message appears, “Unable to execute script at line 53. Uncaught JavaScript exception: can’t connect to thescriptfighter.com:80

Yes, I tried to restart AE several times as well as my computer
And your internet connection works fine?
Internet connection was fast and running. It started running again however on it’s own after about an hour

Hi, I could only open this plugin the first time. After leaving After Effects, when I went back in it came up with this message “License is already active on maximum allowed product instances, please deactivate this license from active domain(s) and try again”. Can I reset it ? Same problem as above issues. I also have this plugin on one computer, and haven’t updated After Effects since using the plugin.

After updating this plugin, I run the SF-Subtitle, and I get an error.”Unable to execute script at line 42. After Effects error “the section and key (SF – Subtitles, ChackFOrUpdate) could not be found in the preferences.” And tell me. Thank you

I installed and used the subtitles plugin just fine! Very happy with it
After a couple of weeks I open After effects to work on a new project and it ask me again to put username and purchase code. No problem, I put that info and click OK and I get this message “Licence is already active on maximum allowed products instances, please deactivate this license from active domains and try again” (For ref. https://prntscr.com/pdjpkp )
But i havent used it in any other computer or in any other after effects, how do I deactivate from “the supposedly other device” ?!? I’m stuck and I really need to start working on some projects, help please.

very heavy on comps and its lagging and cause software not responding
Sorry to hear this, but it probably happens from your misunderstanding in how to use the tool. Try to keep track of the following shows and everything will work smoothly: 1. It is recommended not to work on comps with longer than 10 minutes. 2. Try to work on an “easy” AE project without complicated compositions. 3. Your computer should be compatible with normal AE use, if you have a weak computer then the AE project will be weak accordingly.

i have a 12 core machine with duel processors okay, video length 7 mins just 1 video layer and no compositions at all even this it still not works well can’t customize the fonts sizes should use frame by frame if i select them all and change the font size the ae not respond i want to return the plugin please

Ok figured it out the layer can’t be cut inside the comp otherwise it does wierd things. A small thing.

Sure, it’s very simple! Please select the background layer and then in the effects control panel you will find a slider called “Offcet path”, and when you change the values in the slider, the size of the background will change.

AE launch and upgraded SF-SUBTITLES script is put in AE2019 script folder and started, user name and license must be entered. When entered, “License verification” appears and SF-SUBTITLES cannot be used.

In square videos the subtitles go outside the screen. Is it possible to place the subtitles in a textbox/ paragraph instead of single character/text lines each time?
I did not really understand what your advice was, anyway you can reduce the size of the captions and then they did not leave the screen.

SF-Subtitles is great. Only thing I noticed is when you scrub the timeline, the text takes a while to update. Is this related to the duration of the video?
Yes, of course, long video / composition its heavy for the after effects. Therefore, it is recommended to work with “SF Subtitles” on video subtitles for a maximum of 6 minutes.
