Dear Firiend, In the description it is given “Transitions with Mattes for Alpha Channel”. That means, Alpha channel reveal mattes are provided only for the given 5 transitions, not for the 22 leaks movies. Leaks needs only blend mode to operate. I hope you understand the description. Thank you!

Hi, how can I use it in Avid Media Composer?
Place this Light Leaks video on top of your footage in timeline and apply Avid FX Filter on it. Go to ‘Launch User Interface’, open ‘Composite’ menu, use Apply Mode: Add or Screen. Then Appy.

I think you have not installed Avid FX filter. Without that, you cannot do these compositing effects or Blending Modes in Media Composer.
oh, that ’s not good.. the Avid FX Filters are very expensive, I think.
If you are using media composer 5.5 or older, then these filters are not there. I think Avid Fx is built-in from version 6.xx onwards.
How do you load this to Motion, or better still load it to FCPX? I’ve put the 2 folders of leaks into Movies / Motion Templates / Effects. But they won’t show in FCPX???? Help please.
These are just movies clips in PhotoJPG Quicktime format. Not templates. I think just Import Media is enough for these clips.

These are pre-rendered movie files. You can use this on top of your photos, videos and can add music.

Hey Im putting the video as a new layer on my clip and when i do blending mode soft it darkens my video cuz you video background is black. as you can see im new in after effects. could you help me with that problem?

Hi, I’m not getting an Alpha Channel on any of these.. I’m using Vegas. First time I’ve ever had this problem with an Alpha video I’ve purchased here. Could you help me out? I don’t want to use Multiply or Overlay as that messes with the colors.
Alpha channel is not there with these files. Alpha channel is not mentioned in the description. Only transitions have alpha channel with matte. For flare files you have to use screen mode. Please read the documentation provided. Thank you!
