OUTSTANDING TEMPLATE AND OUTSTANDING SUPPORT FROM AUTHOR (FACADE)

This template looks and works great – once you get the basics down it is easy to customize. I had a few questions when I first used it and Facade answered emails immediately and walked me through it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PRODUCT AND AUTHOR !!!

Thanks 21Lakes, I appreciate it. Wish you the best with your project.

I can’t change to base color of the helmet and the stripes.

Try getting rid of the Expression connecting the helmet color to the control expression in the Master Comp. Then change the color manually inside the Helmet Comp.

Feel free to email me via my profile page here on Videohive and I can further help guide you

Hi, Can’t get this template to open on CC 2020 Windows or Mac. Any suggestions? Project loads ok, just hangs once loaded. No preview or anything.

Hi Pedro. Thanks for purchase. Question, did you unzip to self contained directory folder? Some people forget to do that step sometimes and try to work within the zip folder.

Also, once you do that, please look at the video tutorial included and relink to Element 3D within the Element 3D plugin. Let me know how it goes after doing these steps.

Hi thanks for the quick response. I did unzip the folder. Also relinked the Element 3D files. Once all opened, it just takes forever to preview scenes. Even with draft selected in Element 3D and my AE preview monitor set to Quarter res. I have a brand new iMac Pro with 64GB Ram and the Radeon Pro Vega card, so I know its not my computer that’s lagging.

Try one thing…in Element 3d…turn off grass layer and see if that helps with speed. Curious if the grass layer is giving you issues…

possible to change “background”, another sport

It is..takes a little work..and you have to know your way around Element 3d..but yes..its possible

Using AE CC 2019, no wall, no grass, no helmet. Relinked everything. I can see the helmet when I open the 3D scene, but not in the preview screen. Rendered it think it would be there…nope….

Make sure you also unzip everything to self contrained folder before doing anything first..then relink the scene via Element 3d. Email me via my profile page and we can continue discussion via email.

What happens if you don’t have the plugin?

You need the plugin to use it. If you don’t have it..don’t purchase it.

Hi! i have a very very urgent question, i canot relink the scene…i have follow all the steps in diverses answers, open one version or another..i have made all this steps:

You have to relink the 3d files via Element 3d interface. Go inside the Main comp, select the Element layer at the bottom and go inside Element 3d. Inside of that, go up to File>Relink Scene and it will prompt you to add the path to where the 3d files exist. Add a path to the directory.

Helmet, grass and background will pop up. <—but this dont happen, in the element 3d ui i can see the helmet but in the aftec effects scene cannot see nothing, please please help i hace ACC 2019

Hi, just emailed you. Keep me updated via email. Thanks.

I recently purchased. Using 2017 Mac. Have the plug-ins. Adobe Cloud AE 2019. When i launch it does not ask to relink. So, I enter EDIT SCENE.. it launches Elements. I can link helmet…no problem. But when I try and link grass and click ok…AE crashes. I’ve tried placing models in different areas after some homework. But it just does not like the grass model.

Hi Steven. I’m not available to troubleshoot for the next couple days. I’m not sure what it could be seeing that you got the helmet to show up. The grass itself is just a low poly model of grass that is being cloned….you could try lowering number of grass clones to see if that helps…if not, feel free to ask for a refund via Envato if the issue persists.

I would love to buy this, but I have AE CC 2018. Will this still work? I’ve bought other ones before that were not up to date and they did not work. I’m very interested! I look forward to hearing from you.

Yes, it will work. You just need to make sure you have Element v2 plugin from videocopilot in order to use it.

Friend, I wish you great sales and positive mood! ;)

Thank you drev0!

Hello! Great job. You have a wonderful and professional portfolio! I wish you big sales! By the way, I’m looking for cooperation with the authors of VideoHive. If you want, you can use my music (with a watermark) in your videos. Just choose what you like. In turn, I will place a link to your work on my page (my page already has an example). If you have any questions or suggestions, just let me know :). Good mood and good luck!

When you purchase this, sorry if this is a dumb question but can you continue to make multiples of it? Like do you pay 18$ for just that one clip? Or have you unlimited use to create as many with that license.

Not sure if I understand you question..but, you buy the template..then you can customize it by changing colors, adding your own logo to the helmet…etc…and rendering out different videos with different players.

Oh great! I was just worried that it was a once off use! This product is amazing and I will be purchasing in the near future!

Hi! I was SOOOO excited to use this but I ran into a problem. I am running AE CC 2018 and it doesn’t seem like everything there. Element 3D doesn’t even ask for the links and i dont know how to link them back up… please help. Thank you!

inside the Element 3d UI, you have to relink to the 3d helmet file. If you don’t see the pop up to relink, inside the Element 3d UI, go up to File>Relink Scene File to bring up the Relink UI.

Contact me through email so I can further assist you. You can contact me via my profile page…on the bottom right there is a contact form. Thanks

could you make a version of this with a lacrosse helmet?

Hi there. Contact me via my contact form on my profile page to discuss this. https://videohive.net/user/facade

thanks

Hi there, I sent you an email regarding this. Thanks

I wonder if this can be used for CasparCG? I would need the text and picture dynamically changeable within Caspar, plz contact me. thanks.

i sent you an email regarding this. Hope you received it. Thanks

I have Element 3D and Optical Flares but when I open the project it doesn’t show me the helmet or grass at all. Can you help me out please? thanks.

Sometimes that Relink pop up does not pop up by itself.

Sent you an email too. Follow up with me via email if you have questions please.

This template should now be running nicely with AE CC2014, CC2015 and CC2017. I updated it recently.

Great job. Very professional. =) GutiarNation

thx GuitarNation!

Nice piece of work but for some reason the logo does not appear on the helmet … whatever the version I use, the rest is fine !

hmm, that is odd. Should not do that. Did you extract the template zip file into its own self-contained folder? I’m asking becsuse some people forget to extract the project and try to open from within the zip file. That image is in the project file. Please extract the zip again and try opening fresh new file in After Effects. Let me know how that goes.

Well I re-unzipped everything. I followed your tutorial to link the 3D elements, everything went fine but no logo on the helmet. If I want yo change the logo on the helmet I open Helmet_ColorMap as explained in the tutorial, I see the eagle but the eagle never showed up on the helmet once I close it and AE recalculates everything. All other customizations are fine except this one.

I use Elements 2.2.1 and Adobe CS6 so I took Football_Player_Headshot_Transition_PreRenderedOF_Final_E3Dv2_Version.aep

hmm. okay ..please send me an email via my profile page. Then once I reply you can send me a screenshot so I can see what you are looking at and go from there.
