Hi, any news as to the template crashing due to MIR 3? I have the same problem as Santaomsk… Error massage is just that MIR 3 seems to have crashed AE. In a new project I can apply MIR 3 just fine, appears to work – I have not animated it though. Thanks!

On January 28, I bought Music Waves Creator v1.1 because I loved everything I saw.
But I have a little problem. Both the explanation that it includes in quicktime and .txt formats, apparently it looks very easy to use … but I’ve been trying to use it for several days following the instructions and, either I’m very stupid (which could be) or something is not right. .. ah! I have the required plugins: Trapcode soundkeys and MIR.
But if I am guided by the video, at no time have I been able to see the 4 caprpetas called AUDIO REACT MUSIC VISUALIZER 001, 002, 003, 004 that are seen on the left side of the video … Nor the 4 images in step 1 of choosing the Preset …
Will you have another tutorial that is more for dummies like me? Because I have tried to look for them and did not get anything.

Indeed, the first step is not relevant at the moment. Now required in the first step (“1.Choose preset”) select the preset from the folder. Each preset is in a separate folder.
That is, open the folder “MIR3 CC PRESETS” (or “MIR2 CS6 PRESETS” if you have only old versions plugins) Here you see folders with presets, open one of the folders and launch “Music Waves Creator ” project.
The rest of the steps are completely relevant.
The video tutorial will be updated in the near future. I will try to describe in more detail procedure for starting customization.

is there a way to reduce render time? (at the moment it takes like 4hours for 4 minutes of audio) (running with 16gb ram on an i7-4790 and a GeForce GTX 760)

You can reduce multisampling in the plugin MIR (which is located inside the MAIN WAVES composition). You need to open the plugin settings. In the last tab “rendering” change the value of multisampling to 0. This will reduce the rendering time, but slightly worsen the appearance (in some cases this is not noticeable).

Hi I just purchased the project file and I have CC2015 English, Trapcode Mir3, Trapcode Sound Keys v 1.4.0, when I try opening project Special for MIR3 plug-in I get an error message “The file you are attempting to open was created with After Effects version 16.0.1 (Windows 64) and cannot be opened with this version” Please help me, thanks!
By the way, I am using a Mac, El Captain ver 10.11.6
Hi again, sorry to bother you. I encountered some other problems while using the other templates, 1. when I open MWC front preset and MWC minimalistic preset, only lines shows up while MWC horizontal and MWC red looks fine. 2. once I put my music and hit apply under sound keys the wave on horizontal and red changes, the wave line becomes very simple and looses all the details, and 3. the wave does not react to the music at all, I even tried rendering to double check, hope you’ll be able to help me.

Unfortunately haven’t read that it requires additional plugins. Seems worthless to me now as I only have the pure Adobe AE. Right?
