I”m getting an error in After Effects: The source compression type is not supported. (86 ::1) also file cannot be imported – this ‘MooV’ file is damaged or unsupported. I’m using After Effects 2020. I have quicktime installed. I’m on a mac. Can you send me a different format?

File works OK I just check. File is JPEG2000 QuickTime Alpha Channel and Adobe 2019 do not support QuickTime JPEG 2000 format. I will send you “GreenScreen Version”

I’m running Premiere Pro CC 2019 on Windows 10 and receive the message: The file has an unsupported compression type “mjp2”. It doesn’t work with After Effects either. I cannot load it into handbrake, will not play correctly in VLC.
I tried downloading QuickTime (even though it is no longer supported on Windows), but still received the same error message. It does however play in QuickTime.
Is it possible to get a copy of this in another format that supports an alpha channel?

Hi, I just check project and everything work fine. There are some problem with Adobe 2019 with supporting QuickTime JPEG 2000 and I dont know why, but sure I will sent you via WeTransfer project in another format. Best Regards

For some reason this .mov is not in color. it is just gray. i tried it in quick time and final cut prox
Regards, I use After Effects and everything is working properly. Try to make sure that everything is neatly with configurations when inport file.
