Thank you.

Working in AE 2019?

Yes, of course it does!

It works on all versions of After Effects between cs6 and cc 2019.

How do I deactivate the plugin on my copy of AE? Also, after deactivating, could I use it on a different machine? thanks

You can deactivate the script from your machine and move it to another machine by pressing on the settings button, and there you will find “deactivate” button.

If you want a license to work on more than one computer, send me an email and I’ll explain what to do. thescriptfighter@gmail.com

I just bought this plug-in. Pretty cool. It works (Mac and newest AE). I have a feature request. Could the output the time code be in this format: “00:00:04,771 -> 00:00:09,109” instead of “00:00:04,771.438104771439 -> 00:00:09,109.109109109109” The reason is that YouTube won’t accept an SRT with those extra digits. I had to manually remove the period and all the digits after it for it to work. Then it worked fine. Thank you!

Bug fixed, you can now download the revised version.

I’m confirming. This latest version works perfectly. I was able to upload generated SRT file onto YouTube without any problem. I highly recommend this plugin. Thank you for such a quick fix!

Great script. Just saved me a lot of time today. Is there a way to make the script just create one line of text per subtitle entry? Right now I noticed that when a subtitle entry reaches more than 40 characters the script makes two lines of text.

Glad to hear that the script helps you, what you offer I will add in the near future :)

This asks me for my licence everytime I open adobe after effects? Is this script suppose to do this, all my other scripts just asks for the licence the first time I use it. It’s pretty annoying.

I have no idea what that means :)

Are you using After Effects cc 2019?

You can just email me here: thescriptfighter@gmail.com

Looks like a great script! I had a question about animation. I’m wanting to make each subtitle animate in with a fade, push, etc. and also have some words colored, some white. Basically, modern social media subtitles. With this script, is it easily possible to add custom animation and colors?

Thanks for the compliment.

Yes, It is a “Text Layer” so you can customize it as much as you want, for example changing a color to the specific words or do a fade in or fade out like you doing in normal After Effects Text layer.

Amazing tool!!! great job SF. I already purchased the script and i’m very excited about it. what about SF subtitle version for Adobe Pr?

Thanks for your Feedback.

Adobe Premiere already has a tool for making subtitles, do you still think it would help if there were SF-Subtitles for Adobe Premiere?

Love this! How can I change the font size and stroke for the whole text layer w/o having to go to each keyframe individually? Thanks!

Hello, You can select all the keyframes (When your “time croser” is on one of the keyframes) and then you can change the size and the stroke all at once.

Edit: Nevermind, figured it out.

Cool. If you need anything else, I’ll be happy to help :)

Thanks for the great tool! This is amazing.

Thanks you very much for your good comment, it will really helps if you will rate the script in 5 stars :)

does in support right to left language?

Yes, SF-Subtitles supports RTL (Right to Left) and LTR (Left to Right) typing mode.

Hello Interested to buy this plug in. Is there a way to have multiple languages other than english? Arabic, Thai, etc etc

First of all thanks for your thoughts of buying this tool. This tool actually supports LTR and RTL (Left to Right – Right to Left) typing mode.

This means that this tool supports writing in English and Arabic as well and any other language that is written from left to right or from right to left (but only if After Effects supports this language).

Same problem here. Doesn’t work on CC 2019…

In the next few days I will publish an update that will fix this.

In the meantime, can you please say which operating system you have? And what exactly is the problem?

Anyway, the bug has been fixed in the latest version so feel free to download the updated script :)

Hi, I’ve just bought the script for Mac OS and it doesn’t work. I’m on AE CC2019 and OSX High Sierra. Do you have a solution ? I understand that the script create keyframe for each text, so I try to create manually keyframes and it works a little but it’s not the way I want to work. Thanks for your answer.

Yes it create a text layer called “Craeting Subtitles” (with fault ;)), but with no keyframes

I have send you an email at thescriptfighter@gmail.com, thanks

Good news, the bug has been fixed in the latest version (v 1.02) so feel free to download the updated script :)

Hello! I would like to know if it is possible to import .srt files to be automatically placed in timed time?

Yes sure, You can import (and export) .srt file and the script will placed it automatically on after effects timeline.

Hi there, great work. When do you plan to release a version for Mac?

Thanks, I’m working on it, It will be available it a few days.

Thanks for your answer. Is it possible to choose any font and are there different style options?

Right now you can select all subtitles keyframes and then change the text style/size/font in the after Effects Character Panel.
