Like i mentioned earlier,e-mail me through my profile page and we can discuss further.
Hi uniquefx,
I admired your skill and purchased the Digital Reveal from you. I understand that you also can customize project for extra charge. Eventhough I purchase this template but it still fulfill the goal of my project. Can I post you a video so you can look and see if you can customize text matrix effect? Thanks.
E-Mail me the video link through my profile page (Contact box in the lower right corner)
Hi. Im writing to this one but im referring to all your work. You have a thing of making something simple, and elegant, and making people crazy to by it. I think this thing is called talent. I wish you all the sales you can handle, and much more.
Thank you very much for your kind words!
I’m running CS6 with Trapcode Form but this file doesn’t display the particles/form effects properly. They stutter in and out and then disappear before anything animates in. Any updates on how to make this work?
Have you tried rendering the file? Does the video stutter?
There has been some reports that Trapcode plugins don’t preview correctly on CS6 because of it’s new cache features. In some cases the cache needs to be turned off and deleted.
If you are unable to edit, preview or render the file, contact me through my profile page and i’ll customize it for you.
Wonderful work!
Great work. I was curious if I’m able to change the font of the letters in this. Thanks!
Yes you can change the font or even the letters themselves if you want. Some knowledge of After Effects is required.
I paid for and downloaded this effect, I am using Adobe AE CS6 but when I try and open the project I get an After Effects Warning: unable to import file “C:\Downloads\._digital_reveal.aep” as project (bad format or not readable)
Also I’m using Windows 7 PC
What do I do now?
Use “File -> Open Project”
Hi, nice template!
I just bought it, and it is my first use of AE. I would like to customize it by replacing alpha character set by 1 and 0, to give a binary-like style.
How can I achieve this? I think it is in the Characters composition, but I dont know how to generate another layer composed of 1 and 0… Thanks!
Yes you need to edit the Characters composition. You can shorten the composition to just have the first to characters which are 0,1.
Drag the work area to cover just the 0 & 1 and go to “Composition -> Trim Comp To Work Area”
looks like a matrix.
Not bad at all, unfortunately the form characters creeps out behind the logo which makes it look like a badly compressed jpeg. Had to create another mask layer to remove these artifacts…
Thanks for the feedback! I’ll look into it and hopefully fix the issue.
Thanks. I purchased. But, I have encountered two issues:
a) Upon opening AE I get following error: http://screencast.com/t/mYk2M4OgAKF
b) If i use ‘text’ instead of ‘logo’ it appears the ‘letter fragments’ etc vanish and the bg becomes gray/white and does not match your presentation. I used ‘white’ text (default) when rendering to .mov.
Can you advise?
Jason
You don’t have the Trapcode Form plugin this project requires to work properly.
You can download a trial version or purchase the full one here:
http://www.redgiantsoftware.com/products/all/trapcode-form/Hi—I like it! Is it possible to use a “text” instead of a logo image by any chance, if so, how. I am a AE newbie.
Thanks J
Yes it possible. You can edit the existing text inside the YOUR LOGO composition or use the text tools to create a new text layer.
If i purchase can I change the logo with “JUST” a .png photo? I don’t have to have any other program like Illustrator or anything?
If I understand correctly…all I will need to do is convert my logo into a .png file correct?
Thanks, Winners
You will need After Effects CS4 and the Trapcode Form plugin, but besides that,a .PNG will do.
Please help me. I am very new to Adobe After Effects and upon opening your file, I receive the following message; (effect missing – form.)
This project requires the Trapcode Form plugin to work.
Thanks, I figured that out. Following your tutorial I was able to create my logo animation quite easily. My only problem now is, when I save the project as an avi the and watch the movie, it is choppy and skipping. How can I correct this? I plan on using it as an intro to my YouTube screecasts. Thanks again!!!
You are probably trying to “Export” the video? What you need to do is “Render” it.So when in you Main Composition go to “Composition -> Make Movie” and from there you can set the parameters for your final video.
I have these green diagonal lines showing up when I render this, it looks to be on the “Digital Shine” layer.
How do I keep those from rendering?
Do you have a licensed copy of Trapcode Form? Looks like the watermark of the demo version.
Yup you’re right, I ended up just using AE’s own Radial Blur and copying the Trapcode settings.
Thanks for the help!
Awesome effect. I purchased this and already made my logo animation.
My question is: How do I change it from 14 sec to 5-7 seconds? I am new to After Effects. Is it possible to speed up the animation relatively easily?
Looking forward to a quick reply.
Thanks.
There are a few ways and it’s pretty simple.
If you still have the original project open, create a composition by going to “Composition -> New Composition” make sure you select the “HDTV 1080 25” preset and set the duration to your liking. Now drag and drop the “Main Composition” into this new one and right click on the layer in the timeline and select “Time -> Time Stretch” and enter the new duration of the animation.
This also works with your already rendered animation,so you can import it and stretch the duration.
Thanks for the purchase and i hope this was quick enough
You Rock ! thanks for this
Whoa! Thanks a lot my fellow author
Thank you so much for the upload! I will use this to start out on advertising/tutorials for my site.
Defiantly will be buying more from you in the future.
On a side note do you have any recommendations on rendering. Ex: for AVI /MP4 and just general quality.
Thanks for the purchase and kind words!
I usually render my final videos as Quicktime JPEG with 90% quality, but the h.264 compression is also something to look into…
awesome work !!!
Smooth and elegant
