I’m on Mac CC2014 (not CC2015) and getting the same error as Impasto. Not scaled correctly. Advice?

The scale is all wrong when I open it in AE. All the elements are about 200% too big and are cropped off the working area. We’ve opened it on both a Mac and Windows computers running the latest Creative Cloud versions of AE with the exact same results. Any advice on how to fix this?

It says 11 text placeholders and 4 media placeholders, is this also flexible meaning can be less or is this hard coded?

Not hard coded!, choose a comp with 4 placeholders, use only the last three, trim it in the main timeline, and move on..
