Hello, please go to your Adobe folder. Then After Effects 2020 > Support files > Presets.
Copy here the folder “210 Pext Presets”. Open (or restart) After Effects, go to effect and presets panel a now you should see these presets.

Hi, I like to use a preset that do a short drop out while a person speak in sync. Which preset do you recommend. They all seem to spin or bounce a lot, I do not have the timeline for it. How do you adjust the speed of it appearing?
Hello Dawnlee73, thank you for purchasing.
Most of the presets have speed control. Select a text layer, go to settings (press “F3”) and adjust “speed” control. Lower number means faster animation.
I think that some animations from the last update would be suitable. These are animations 173-210. But its individual, depending on the specifications of your video.

Do you offer a “STAR WARS” type, 3D Scrolling text effect , to make a paragraph of text scroll up the screen or fade off into the distance?

QUESTION – Locating the NUMBER of an animation I have used
A music video may require 70 or 80 animations. Work done over a few days.
For example: On Monday I use an effect which matches the text perfectly. by Thursday I want to use it again later in the video – but stupid me, i did not write down the number of the effect when i used it the first time.
Is your effect number (1 to 170) STORED ANYWHERE in the work-space? How can I retrieve it?From now on I won’t use an effect without writing the number down. but it would be very valuable VALUABLE to get that number from the file itself.

10 STAR PACKAGE – Perfect for Music Lyric Videos (& Karaoke) – I just create a staggered sequence of layers one measure long. Add the text, measure by measure, and then call the numbered preset onto the text. Finally, you just nudge the parameters till it fits and looks smooth. The sync problem pretty much solves itself. Hello wanted to know if I have to delete the entire text in order to change the animation I want? Also how can I see which animation I used on a type so that I do not use the same animation on another?
Hi,
In case that you have a text with certain animation and you want to apply new animation to this text, then I recommend this:
Copy your text, create new text layer, paste your text into it and apply new text animation to this new new text layer.
If you need to know which animation is used on a certain text layer, I recommend to create a note with number of the animation(for example a marker on the layer) while you applying the preset.

Hi, of course it’s! If you want do this inside After Effects, then just place you image into timeline below the text layer and it’s done. If you don’t know how to do it, please contact me via my profile page, I’ll help you with your problem.
