Yes. Unfortunately it doesn’t work without a plugin. You can write to the support service of envato and ask them what can be done in this situation. Or try the trial version of the plugin. Perhaps it will interest you.

I tried editing with AE CC 2017 and Particular older than 2.5 and getting 0.3 fps realtime, terrible speed, whats the problem for your opinion?
This set is well optimized for fast rendering. All effects are located on one layer. Some effects can be quite slow, but otherwise there should be no problems. Please write to me in private messages. I will try to help you with this issue.

Some effects look a little different on Trapcode Particular 4. For all effects to be the same – I recommend using the previous version of Trapcode Particular.

What is the fix for the “After Effects cannot find the Fast Magic Preset folder” problem? I tried all versions of AE going back from CC 2018 to AE CC 2014, no luck so far.
