Dear Sir! I have purchased this project and i am very satisfied so far. Still, there is an issue i cannot solve alone. My footage is not displayed correctly on letters, in fact, there is just some blury color movement but not clear image or video. Footage fits to comp size, white solid is off. Any suggestions?
Only thing that helped a bit are UV map settings for letters. Showing RTS footage on this project is not recommended, still, i am satisfied and i got a good intro combining it with SABER plugin. Hope my review helps someone in future.
Thanks for your purchase and the review. If you use a newer Element 3D version, you have to adjust the UV settings of the letters to display the footage properly.
Do you mind to share UV original settings here? I would like to compare it and see if i can get even better results.

The original settings are:
Texture Mapping: Box (Preserve Aspect)
UV Repeat: 0.50 and 1.00 UV Offset: -0.41 and 0.00

I have After Effects CC 2017, when I load the file (following your tutorial video) I see no actual preview of the intro when reviewing the render composition—just a black screen. Also I need the two effects, as it says I’m missing them, can I purchase or download those somewhere?
Thanks for your purchase. As written in the items description the Element 3D plugin is required. You can get it on videocopilot.net – the second plugin Optical Flares is optional. There is a version included where the flares are prerendered.

Thanks for your purchase. Please make sure that Quicktime is installed on your system. After Effects requires Quicktime to work properly.
Not sure why I can’t rate this but thanks for this 3D opener! I was looking for something ‘simple” (not too much going on like fire and explosions 
What I would’ve given you a top rating on also, is that you took the time to actually put up a detailed how-to video! This came in handy as I’m just now getting back to AE/E3D/OF so it was a nice refresher. I rendered this in under 6 minutes using AE CC 2017.

You probably use Element 3D VS2. Unfortunately with version 2 you need to change the UV mapping of the 3D text. But it´s not difficult!
First of all scale your footage that it covers the whole placeholder composition.
Then enter the “SETUP” composition, select the “E3D TEXT 01” layer, make sure your time marker is placed at the right time and take a close look which letters are visible at that point in time. Enter the Element 3D “Scene Setup”. In the scene setup select the “Extrusion Model” and scroll to “UV Mapping”. Change the “UV Repeat” and the “UV Offset” values until you see what you like to see on the letters.

I would recommend to tile the texture and increase the repeat value. This will repeat the footage on your letters and will make it clearer to see. For the offset you have to play around until you find something that fits your needs.
