Hello. I just purchased your product. I’m following your tutorial, but the adjustments I’m trying to make do not happen. At the outset, I’m trying to highlight 3 states in the US, but nothing happens. Nothing happens when I adjust the highlight. Nothing happens when I adjust the brightness. Nothing happens when I adjust the opacity. Nothing. I do have the Map Guide layer turned OFF. In the World Map Comp, when I try to solo the US, nothing happens. I need to get moving on the project, so please get back to me and let me know what I’m doing wrong. Thanks.

Hello, if you want to change the texture of the map, you’ll have to go into photoshop and modify the texture of the base map as you like. problem is, that after that, you will have to separate again one hundred and something layers with the countries from your basemap.and you will have to use the same names of the new country layers as the old ones. it’s not hard but you will need patience.
yes, you can change the stroke width from the control panel layer- border size effect.

I cannot render the final project. Does each layer need to be rendered? Also, the images are very pixelated especially when zooming into states/countries. I will need to abandon hours worth of work if I cannot figure this out. Thank you.

no, it doesnt have the flags, but if you are familiar with After Effects, it’s easy to add them
Yes, I just want to know the structure of your project. Can I use alpha mask with flag for individual country?
exactly, basically you go into the country composition, add the flag layer after the first “country.psd” layer, make it 3d and alpha mask it

1. Yes, Kenya and Tanzania are selectable countries, you can use them
2. I’m not sure i understand your question on this one, the part you mention is just some selected countries extruded once after another and some camera movement. Yes, it can be rendered, of course. Just take your time on render, the more countries you extrude, the longer render will be.
3. Yes, of course, the project comes with a detailed tutorial

Hi, great work! I would need an advice. I need to delete borders completely so the map is completely clear, without border lines. Is it possible to delete them somehow? Thanks a lot for help
to be honest, right now i dont remember if the borders are merged into the background map or not. but if they are, i think i could look at home for a version without borders and send it to you. so leave me your email please

So, I’m the process of animating a bunch of countries and states. As I move down the timeline the countries that I have extruded and highlight start turning off the effects. I’m not keyframing them anymore, they should still show up. I rendered out a couple seconds to test and they are in the final render. But its making it difficult remembering which countries I’ve highlighted if they don’t show up with effects on the timeline. I’m lost on what to do next. Is there a better setting I should use? I’m restarted my computer and purge my memory thinking that could be it. I’m on one of those new black mac towers with maxed out RAM, hard drive and processing power. I’m sure that’s not the problem…any suggestions?

Hi, unfortunately the project is very slow to work with. It took me 2 hours to create 20 minute of basic animation. It renders 40 minutes. I followed your instructions in the tutorial for better workflow. I would suggest to optimize the project even more. Thank you. NB! My coworker bought the project.

Hello! Cambodia and Singapore are available in the project. Kuala Lumpur, being a city, is not. But you can use a crosshair and a name label to show cities.

I basically want to show from Singapore, there’ll be a trajectory to Malaysia and Cambodia, however Singapore is too pixelated at the moment if I zoom in.

Hi, unfortunately, there are no Argentina states in the project, you can only select and extrude Argentina as a country.
