This would be great to get working on CC 2019
It works on CC2019, you just need to perform an additional command in the Terminal on MacOS.

As of today, I’ve not been able to view the AEViewerBP window in my workspace… I click to view the extension but it won’t pop up. Doesn’t appear in my dashboard either. Help…

After that restart After Effects and try to open AEviewerBP one more time.
I updated to last after effects version and now the AEVieweBP doesn’t open anymore.

Hi, I’ve installed as per the instructions via terminal but both AE CC 2018 and 2017 latest versions beachball when I get the AEViewerBP window; nothing shows in this window.
UPDATE: It was my network connection.
If anyone else has this issue I think it’s just trying to connect to the server to validate but if it can’t connect it just beachballs and doesn’t tell you anything of use.
I can’t seem to access this tool after updating my AE, keeps giving me the verify license loop, tried uninstall reinstalling both and still the same issue.
