I do have another question about having zoom level smaller than 1, just sent you a mail. Like what if I want the end point to be a whole country, but zoom level 1 is still too much zoom?

Hello I just bought your template and i am following the tutorial. I am using Mac. So when i press download map images after the message “it will take time” a white window appears and stays like that.. then it finishes like the download is complete but there are no images (the co ordinations appear in the coordinates precomp) can you help me please ! thanx !
Hi, the “download map images” never works for me. Whenever I put in the coordinates and click on download map images, the Map Generator freezes on a certain location and After Effects freezes. Once I close Map Generator AFter Effects comes back.
Could you kindly provide a version that the map generator acutally works?
the locations I used were “35.70058,139.44358”, “35.70399,139.62513”, and “35.70822,139.61954”

Is there a way I can get an updated map browser? The image generator has never worked for me since it was added so I still use it. It does nothing when coords are entered and the different “levels” are no longer there.

Hi, can I do a incremental zoom with small stops? Like: whole globe, then the US, then Texas, then Austin? The satellite is optional, right?
Hello’ i’ve just download this marvellous package. When I open the toolkit, I get the following error message (translated by German): Expression disabled. Error in line 1 in the “Opacity” property of layer 5 (“CR1”) in the composition “CR”. Property or method “Checkbox” in class “Effect” is missing or does not exist. It may have been renamed, moved or deleted, or the name entered incorrectly. I am using After Effects 15.1.1 (Build 12)

Hi there! Do we have to select a whole number for the zoom level? For instance, i want to select 5.5 zoom rate in order to catch a proper frame for satellite view?
Hello, Yes you can only select a whole number for the zoom-in level. Here’s a quick take around for this situation. Zoom-in to level 5 and then scale up and add keyframe to the main composition until it fits with your frame. Doesthatt make sense?
By main composition, do you mean e.g. bg elements for coordinate 01 or adjust duration (render) ? thanks for the quick response by the way .)

Hello, I am trying to generate maps, but they are rendering blank .png files. I am targeting 25.79477,-80.13316. Is there something I can do here to fix that? I’m using a Mac. Firewall is off. Are there other settings I can check?
I loaded the project on a PC and it worked great. I think the Mac problem has something to do with graphics settings. Sot sure, but it works great on the PC. Thank you.

sure np, when I run the script and put in the Log and Lat. I click on Create Map and the button just turns blue and comes off and an empty folder is created on the desktop called “MAPS_IMG”. Sometime ago I remember it working, on the same version of after effects. By the way I never regret buying this and supporting you. Keep it up
found the problem, It was clashing with another map generator script I bought a while back. as I click on “Download Map Images” works as normal….thanks again and keep up the good work!!

I cannot use this script as every time I try to run it I get the error saying
“Earth Zoom Toolkit folder in ~/Documents/Adobe/ not found. Please copy – Earth Zoom Toolkit- from downloaded zip and place it under ~/Documents/Adobe/.”
I have put them exactly where they are supposed to be but it is not working!!
