I’m actually having the same problem. I’m able to import the reveal image, but the ‘Import Image’ or ‘Import Folder’ options aren’t working. I’ve tried a few file types all in RGB, but no luck. Any ideas?

Hi, it will not import any photos for me. I have tried individually and folder method. I have converted to JPEG in RBG format. Nothing ever loads. What am I missing?

always when importing pix, afx suddenly shuts down. im on a recent imac pro with the latest softwares. is there a quick fix?
and now, after I tried it on the other computer which is a PC, it worked but then afx died during rendering, it now doesn’t accept the purchase code on my imac anymore…

HI there. Double check that your images are RGB and not cmyk. After effects doesn’t like CMYK files in general. You can try convert it in photoshop.
i was trying to activate the script in couple of my pc’s and see that the code is not getting validated. i cross checked multiple time and have the same issue. can you please suggest.

The render keeps crashing in AME. Could you take a look at that?
Hi there! I recommend rendering via after effects instead of AME. AME can be very unstable. If you are not sure how to do this, Have a watch of the rendering tutorial video on how I go about doing this. Kind regards
Hello, rendering via after effects work indeed. But you can’t export to h.264 anymore. I end up with very long render times and big files unfortunately. Could disabling the script help?
hi there. Oh they have removed .H264. Interesting. Are you on a Mac Or PC? if Mac, i would suggest rendering out to Prores 422HQ, then converting your file in AME to h264. PC i would recommend DNxHR/DNxHD and then convert file with AME to H264. The script doesn’t affect rendering at all, so disabling it wont help. Regards
DNxHR gave me a 30GB file which I don’t need. Would there be any other workaround?
You can then Drag that file into adobe media encoder and export out to MP4 or use the presets like YouTube, Vimeo. This will reduce the size drastically. One done. You can delete the dnxhr file.
I’m aware of this method. It’s just not very effecient…
I guess there isn’t much we can do if after effects removes h264 from the system. You could try looking into AfterCodecs. Read it’s a possibility to render to h264. Or you could redownload after effects 2017.

I have a questions. I have 100 .jpg RGB photos in my source folder, but the project is only importing about 30 of them.
Have you seen this issue before? I’ve triple checked most of the standard things, and rebuild a few fresh projects.

Hi there! Hmm that’s really strange. Have you tried importing from another random folder with more than 30 photos? Just want to see if it has anything to do with some certain files. Does it import your photos if you selected the import individually images radio button instead of source folder? By Manually selecting all the photos that way?

First off, and it’s been said, but really great work – I love using this with videos in panels especially. I just wanted to say (maybe you’ll think it’s something for the next update) that I took the time to number the panels, just adding a layer to each photo element that had a number. I had to show sequences to an employer who wants to do a holiday video for the company, and by having a 40% opacity numbered layers on top of my images, we were able to have a meeting and easily pick and choose which images to switch, to remove, etc. just by saying “oh hey, let’s switch 1 with 13”
When getting into the 200 photo range it was VERY helpful, thought I’d share!
Hi there! Thanks for your comment and suggestion. It seems like you might be talking about the number feature which I have already included in the template? You can turn on all the numbers labeled 1-200 and it will appear on the bottom of each image.. It’s located under the check box effects in the project panel. where you can turn it on and off. Is this what you are talking about? Regards.

First of all, great template. My question; is there a way to remove the white borders from the picture and the gap between the picture so in the end when the title picture is formed, the gray/white grid doesn’t show?
thanks so much I know what you mean, and i think that would be something i would try and add to the next update. Unfortunately there isn’t a button to remove the borders, but a quick and dirty way of doing that would be to locate the border solid in the project panel and delete it, which then deletes it from all images. If you need me to go into detail with this, flick me an email on my profile page and i can show you how to do that.
In terms of the gap between the photos at the end reveal, i would need to rebuild that to have no gaps, so unfortunately there is no easy way of doing that at this time, im sorry.

Hey everyone looking to purchase this I would say you won’t be disappointed. I initially had issues, but it was on my end with my firewall. However, the creator of this template was very helpful in communicating with me. Once I got into the file I was blown away on how simple it was to create my mosaic. The wizard tool made this truly the simplest and coolest template purchase I have made from Envato to date!

how does this template works with Widescreen 16:9 images?
You can still bring in your widescreen images into the template, but the outcome will always be a square. You might just need to scale the image up or down and shift it left or right into position to display what part of the image you want to show.
