Hello and thank you for your purchase. I do not understand your question. Tutorials are already included in the package in the “Tutorials” folder where you will find 10 short videos and 2 Pdf files. Templates are not accepted on Envato without tutorials. If you do not find them then maybe your download was not completed, go in your Envato/download page and download again.

Hello and thank you for your purchase ! I am not sure to understand what you mean by “new project”. To work on a new VoluMax Project you have to open the included VoluMax .AEP file, then work on your picture and once finished save your work with a new name .AEP file.

I’d like to use it for non-monetized (as of now) YouTube videos (my personal channel).
But I can’t afford to pay a license fee each time for a new video created.
So can you somehow provide a personal license for unlimited YT videos?

- Regular License: personnal use only, unlimited projects, for one user.
- Extended License: professional use (you will make some money with this tool), unlimited projects, for one user.

Im currently working with the volumax template and dowloaded it a week ago. Everuything works fine untill i open the main comp 4k. When i move the curser the program gets really slow and i cant hardly see anything moving because he has to load with every step move with the curser. im working on 1 of the newest imacs and its not 3 years old yet. any suggestions what the problem might be? im desparate!
Hello and thank you for your purchase. I have one more question if you have a half portrait, like the girl in the yellow raincoat with the rain tutorial, do you use depth map by masking with mid close and far or do you use portrait mode? It should be much faster in 1/4 Quarter. In the tutorial folder you can find a PDF file showing exactly the subject with the girl in yellow raincoat. “11 – Tips & Advanced technics.pdf” , all the process is detailed here

Holy WOW This Looks INSANE!! I’m not very good at AE, and still can’t really tell exactly how we would create one of these, is there any video that walks us through start to finish on an image? Where would our skill level 1-5 need to be to use comfortably? Hope to buy asap!
Hello and thank you for your interest ! I always recommend that users should know at least the basics of After Effects so the learning of VoluMax will be faster and easier. There are lot’s of AE beginner tutorials on Youtube very well done to get a good starting point. Let’s say that a level of 2/5 of AE is enoughto have fun with VoluMax

Is there a way to set up a photo slide show with this product?
Thank you for your purchase ! VoluMax is a tool that transforms a picture in a 3D animation. To do a slideshow you will have to work and export each picture, then include them in your slideshow (in AE or Premiere for example). That way Volumax keep things light, easy and powerful for each picture.
Hello, I was wondering if I can change the size of the compositions, in the case that my photo has different size. I mean, for example a square photo. How could I do it? I bought the VoluMax with my other account.

Hello and thank you for your purchase. VoluMax is in horizontal 4K but you can still import your picture in square or vertical. Do not change the compositions resolutions just use one of the export presets included in new VoluMax pro 5.1 version.

I am considering to purchase the product. However, a colleague of mine who owns it and has a better computer than me has reported render times of 16 hours+ on 10 seconds clip.
My machine is a MacBook Pro, 2,7 GHz Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, and two graphics cards: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB, Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536.
My colleague uses an even newer iMac to render, rendering to Full HD, not 4k.

VoluMax could not have 5/5 stars reviews with so long render times…
I use a i7 3.5ghz cpu and I have 30 sec export time per second of animation in VoluMax. A 10 sec 1080p animation with VoluMax should take around 4 to 7 minutes to export on a I7 depending the model (Video card has no impact on render times). Thank you so much for your reply. It’s not like I didn’t believe you, but I am worried about the “minimum requirements”, so to speak. My colleague as a better computer than mine and gets those render times, so I don’t know how is it going to work on mine. Perhaps some problems with MacOS, or the version of After Effects? Have you never heard of such problems?
16 hours of rendering means a huge problem with hardware or software configuration, and not only for VoluMax…It should take minutes, not hours 
Some of my customers had long rendering times because they were exporting a 1 minute 3d animation in 4K (official trailer is done with 3 to 5 sec animations), others were working on a 12 years old laptop, and others were modifying or breaking VoluMax compositions by doing inaccurate stuff. VoluMax is designed to animate pictures, animating videos is possible but it will be longer to export (the 3D scene is reconstructed by AE at each frame), but it will not last 16 hours…thats insane
Your configuration should be okay with VoluMax, 50% of my customers work on Mac and I7 is a good CPU. Compared to my computer you will maybe have x2 to x4 longer export times maybe ? But that is still reasonable.

Can i get a refund? i purchased this for objects and it does not work. Followed the tutorial and when double clicking displacement map it does not bring me to the correct screen. There is nothing there, no auto displacement ect. If i go to displacement object 1 and put my image in there then it doesnt work

I have just purchased this and it is a 4k comp. Can i make it 1080p?
Hello and thank you for your purchase. Volumax is in 4k but that does’t impact viewport or export speed compared to 1080p, everything is optimized to go fast and After Effects is very smart with rescaling pictures nowadays. Set your viewport in 1/4 or Auto to work in realtime.
You cannot resize the VoluMax compositions because everything is linked by expressions depending of the 4K resolution but you can export in 1080p. The advantage of working with 4K compositions here is to get extra detail and sharpness in the 3D Effects without loosing speed.
Always export at the resolution you need to get it to work fast.
Here are my settings : Adobe Media Encoder – H264 – 1080p (1920×1080)
Export times are 4X times faster in 1080P than in 4K ! Check included export video tutorial

Help Please! After I’m finished making 3d portrait tool mask, I turn off wire mode and the mask looks great, but my background is not black like the tutorial…it’s MY PICTURE but with the portrait tool mask. How do I make my background black for my displacement map like it shows you do automatically in the tutorial. Thank you SO much!!!
Don’t worry ! It seems you just forgot to uncheck the wire mode in the other wire portrait (there are two portrait wireframes). Maybe are you working in the #2 and the #1 is still in work mode ? Hi there I work for a small production company where we make feel-good 1min films. We are 10 video editors, which license do we need to buy in order for everyone to use Volumax or do we only need to buy one Regular/Extended License?
Hello and thank you for your interest. As you are going to sell the videos you produce with VoluMax then it should be the extended license (regular license is for personnal use like Youtube channels or Instagram). Each license is attached to one user but 10 extended licenses seems overpriced. (unless you do full time VoluMax with 10 video editors everyday ) As your studio can be considered as a user (your studio is paying the license) then one Extended license should be okay.
