Please try to disable antivirus and firewall software temporary to see if it helps. Your coordinates look like in proper format. If you provide me with the coordinates by using map browser in the main project folder, I can generate map images for you. Thanks

Hello, I have just downloaded your toolkit. Everything is set but I can’t download maps from google but I have just white window. I’m on mac, I turn off firewall, unlock privacy and nothing is happening. Please help.
There is just preparing map. I tried download from google maps and also from bing. Still nothing. Please, I rely on this plugin. 
And where the maps are downloaded please?

It is not an error. The satellite can’t generate images for these location. This means you don’t have white screen any more?

It depends which coordinates you want to zoom-in.

Generally this kind of problems are related to After Effects versions. Please try to upgrade your After Effects with the latest one.

Hi, I have been slogging through this software every step of the way. The newest issue is MapGenerator white screen, which in reading these posts, recommends saving in the Earth Zoom Toolkit project files directory. Attached is a screenshot of the file that I am attempting to download image maps for, but in spite of being in the correct location still receiving white screen and no images. Thoughts?

We have published a lot of updates since the script released. We fixed the white screen issue already. If you still have this issue, there must be something blocking communication between After Effects and the script. Please make sure that you changed the settings “Allow apps downloaded from” to “App Store and identified developers” as shown in the tutorial. Also If you have any antivirus software or firewall, try to disable them temporarily. Let me know which coordinates you want to zoom in if it’s still not working.
Regarding your second comment, the warning message says that you don’t have the plugins. Because you tried to open the plug-in version. Please try to open “Ultimate Earth Zoom Toolkit.aep” one.

Well, guess what…it stopped working again, is asking me to register again, not see the fonts again, and I did NOTHING to change the location of the app. Even my completed projects do not open correctly. What’s going on?

Yup. One question. Our internet bill is due and though I have some limited access, I wondered if it might be affecting the initialization of the plugin/ It seems to be working now, wich indicates that it must now be current, but no matter whether open the the original template or files that I created from it, the registration fails.

It looks like a coordinate. Please watch the 01 Installation tutorial to learn how to register the script.
My oversight, I apologize. I am not sure how I managed to affect the keys file but I apparently pasted instead of copied the info in my numerous attempts jumping between windows to restore the software. Luckily I made a backup with the correct info, which seems to have restored the registration. This does not answer the question of WHY the software unexpectedly failed again in the first place, but it appears for now to be functioning. Fingers crossed that these issues are behind me finally.
The script checks registration information when it starts. If something is blocking the script connection, it fails. Try to put the script folder in to the white list on your firewall and antivirus software.

Unfortunately, you can’t do that.You can only zoom in / out directly space level.

Thank you very much for your quick reply. Unfortunately, the files you send me both Google and Bing for the first coordinates (-17.846694, -21.707909) are not OK. Some of the images cannot be displayed correctly… For Bing it has a forbidden sign with a camera inside and Google says “sorry, we have no imagery here” in all of the pic as a pattern… Same as shown to me when i tried to download them…what’s wrong??
The idea behind this is that the satellites take pictures of Earth at different levels in a specific time. This means thousands, millions, billions and trillions megabyte of data. Because of this, they only generate images with more details for important places like cities. If you try to zoom in a sea you get images only at a limited level.
The only solution I can suggest for this situation is that replacing those map images with sea texture. I would use blue color for level 4-5-6-7 and a sea texture for the last level.

I tried to run Map Generator.exe and it is whitelisted from anti virus s/w but it is still hanging at “prepairing map”

Hi. I am installing Earth Zoom for the first time on a mac running 10.12.6 Sierra and using AE C C2017. I watched the01 installation tutorial vid and followed all of the procedures, but am not seeing the aoo appearing in my AE window menu. I have also read through this forum, which finds this a common problem, but is solved following the steps that I have already taken. What would you suggest that i try next?

I have tried multiple times to download the images with the Map Image Generator but it is getting stuck: Downloading map: 1 of 1//Zoom Level: 1//Total Progress: 0%. I’ve tried multiple coordinates, every coordinate will be stuck. I have saved the project to the main project folder (Ultimate Earth Zoom Toolkit v3.0\Project Files\01 Ultimate Earth Zoom Toolkit). I’m using mac. Please help!

im getting a message that says my purchase code is incorrect.
Also i couldn’t change color of partial text in placeholder (as overlay element). I can make any edit of the text but just not that color change. Is that possible? When i filled up the color, the text still remains white. However “no fill” works… Thank you
