Hi, many thanks for your amazing work. Two months ago, someone just wrote it: “Hi! Can I set the zoom out level for each scene? I don’t want to go all the way out to space and zoom back in as locations are nearby” and you answered that: “Yes you can. Please watch the provided tutorials”. I just looked at all the new comments since this one and unfortunately I haven’t found where I can understand not to zoom out as far as space after each location (cause mine are about 200 kms from each other). Hi Lucas, I think there is a misunderstanding. You can’t change the zoom out level.
Hi Motion Ape…I hope you could help me with my problem, because after I install and when Map Generator Started to download, my trend micro detected Ransomware, in Map Generator.exe. Please help…I need a solution, because I need Earth Zoom in sort time to catch my deadline.
It’s a false warning. If you add the Map Generator to the whitelist of your anti-virus, it would be ok. Or you can tell me coordinates you want to zoom-in, I will send the map images to you.

Do I have permission to use the zoom at the start of my Youtube videos? Or would I have to purchase a license every time for each video?
I’m not totally sure how I’m going to use this tool yet, though I know that I will never use it for paid work. (And if I ever did I would certainly get the extended license)

Using the same intro several times is okay as long as the videos you used them in are part of one series, for example your youtube channel. So one regular license is fine.

Hi, I already replied your email in the morning. But no problem here are your answers.
1- Yes this part is optional. You can simply get rid it of by trim in the main comp.
2- Background image is editable. You can change it as you wish.

It does not download any images from Google Maps. In popup window showing 3-4 another locations, like England and Turkey, but I want Hungarian locations and the percentage still shows 0% and don’t download anything . I allowed an exception in my ESET Antivirus, but still not work the download. Win7 (64), AE CC 2015 and CC 2018 neither. Another problem is that if you send me images it will not help me, because I want to do lot of animation episodes.
Have you tried to disable antivirus temporary to see if it helps?

I tried your method. After zooming out, the icon doesn’t seem to follow the earth rotation. And it follows back when it’s zooming in again
At zoom out 11, can I keyframe rotation of the earth ?
It won’t rotate with the globe. It’s not that easy. You need to adjust logo duration if you don’t want it after zooming in.

Hello, I have the 2017 version of AE. I enter two coordinates and the map generator window does not progress (0% in 3 hours), what can I do? I need it urgently.
If you can’t download the map images, the issue is usually related to an antivirus program or a personal firewall blocking the connection. You can set up an exclusion in it.
If you provide me with your coordinate I can generate map images for you.
I haven’t antivirus and I have added an exception to the firewall but it still does not work. I had read your answers of “similar problems” but not found. I would like to be able to work normally with others.

Hi, when I create a new project and save as, the coordinates from a completely different project still populate as the coordinates in my animations. Is there a way to reset this? For example, I set Bangkok, Thailand as a location on a completely different project. When I created a new project, I downloaded coordinates to France, but Bangkok Thailand still gets zoomed in on.
