You need to be more precise. Do you have Adobe 6 or Adobe CS6 ? Because Adobe 6 is really old from 2003 and this file is not compatible which such an old version of AE. CS6 is the most recent and this file is neither tested nor marked as CS6 compatible however knowing Adobe’s policy older files should be compatible with newer software version. I asked my colleague who has CS6 to check the compatibility. Keep in touch.

When I created this project I didn’t thought users would like to change the colors so there is no easy way built in to do that, but it’s possible to change them.

You might want to look inside “Elements Scene2” composition that is located inside “Other Comps” folder. There you will see a bunch of White Solid layers with ramp effect applied. Adjust the ramp effect color value to change the triangle color.

Also you might want to do the same thing inside “3D cube” Composition and do it for Background layer inside “Main Animations Comp” composition as well.

Yes you can. Even though it wasn’t meant to be used like that-you can fairly easy do it. You need to go to Scene1 Composition that is located inside “01Title1/Other Comps” folder and disable the bottom most layer which is called “Black Solid 1”. You need to repeat the same step for all 6 scene compositions. That will remove the current background layer and make background transparent. Now you can put a video footage in your “Final Output 720p” comp below “Main Animations Comp” layer.

It could be that there were some problems in the download process and you received corrupt project file. You can fix that by downloading this project again from your downloads page. It’s not pre-rendered so everything can be changed. Meanwhile there is no easy way built in to change the colors. You would need to go through comps manually and replace colors for individual layers.

Are you using other than English version of After effects? Most likely this is the case and there is the reason why it happens: When the project is opened in a different language such as French, the name of ”Slider” becomes “Curseur”, however the expression that links to it is still looking for “Slider”. This causes the expression to not work, and produces an error message upon opening the project. This is not unique to the slider control either, all the names of expression controls will change. There are 2 ways to overcome this problem. The first method is to go through each expression that links to an expression control, and change the name to it’s alternate language counterpart. Or to open the project in it’s native language. You can read more about the second method here
