I have a pre purchase question. Will your project work with a moving object that has been rotoscoped or keyed? Or do you need to use a masked still frame.
I would need it to work with moving files so I just wanted to make sure before I bought it.
Hello. At this time, we are only supporting the product for images/stills/vectors. We’ve honestly gone back and forth on this, but in the end, we keep going back to simplicity with the product.
Most buyers are split on this, either they are brand new to After Effects (as many are coming from just the Photoshop Action) or are relatively familiar with the product and would prefer to use Trapcode Particular for the added features it introduces. For new users of AE, things like motion tracking, keying and even animating a mask can be a bit intimidating, so we keep going back to making the easiest product to use while making sure it’s got plenty of flexibility for pro users.
I hope this helps explain our current position on this – and we’re not ruling anything out, we may end up including support for video in the future.

Unfortunately right now I need something that works with moving objects, but I know you put a TON of work into this.

Hello. The animation can be looped, so the duration can be as long as you like!
Like all other comments I have to say this is a great motion kit. Love it. I do however have a question : Can we modifiy the shape of the shimmer elements, that is instead of hexagonal shapes use rond shapes or star shapes or other kind of shapes ?
