To see all layers in timelines you have to unchecked the “shy” button. Open Edit Color 1,2 or 3 composition, unchecked the shy button, then you can see which layer you want to replace. If you want to edit some layers, you have to unlock each layer, unchecked the locpick icon on the left side of each layers.

Looks and works beautifully except for one annoying issue Im encountering with it in Premier. Instead of opening and closing with the my video in the background, the transparency grid portion appears as a solid black background which is really ugly. This is after its rendered, can anybody help with this?
Hi, first of all make sure you have quicktime installed on your machine, then open the AE file, render it as quicktime. In the output module, click losless to open Output Module settings, Format option choose Quicktime, Video Output – Channels select RGB+Alpha for transparent background, that’s it. I can’t see the effects timelines. How can I see them? I want to add layers.
