Hi i’m getting a ot of sorry we have no imgery here message. I live in Ireland and we are on google earth and i can zoom into the area i need on google earth. Do you have any ideas why this would be doing this? Thanks Alan
Hi Alan, probably Google Earth uses a different source.
I think the probrem is in too fast requests to google. Author, please check the script with a short “delay” function. For the moment it’s not working properly.

If you can’t download the map images, the issue is usually related to an antivirus program or a personal firewall blocking the connection. You can set up an exclusion in it.

Had issues with downloading map tiles, as well when project was stored on a NAS or external hard drive; moving the entire project to the program drive seems to have fixed the problem.

Excellent theme! Is there another way to control the position of the map afterwards? You can control the maximum zoom by changing the Z value in the expression, but if you change the positions, the map shifts in the render.
I’m sorry, adjusting the Z value in the expression when the map has arrived its maxium zoom causes the map shifting, because it’s different from the Z value in the zoom animation. But is there a way to control all values to have a custom maximum zoom? The settings now only allow staps from level 5, 6, 7 etc.

In simple words: how do you have more precise control of the maximum zoom level, because level 6 is too small and level 7 is too big. It’s a big area I need to show.

Hi, I’m interested in potentially using your plugin for a quick tv broadcast job. It would involve going from a wide shot of the uk (so, not even a wide of a globe) to either a single location, or multiple locations around the UK. So my questions are: If we choose to hop from one location to the next, do we need to purchase multiple Extended licenses? Also is the artwork sourced from Google Maps? If it is, will we not be required to watermark the artwork with the Google logo to comply with their licensing? If the artwork comes from elsewhere, do we have permission to use it for TV broadcast in the UK and internationally? I asked these questions of Envato and they just asked me to ask you. Thanks, Mike
Hi, thank you for getting in touch. You would need one license per unique end product and for each different client. Map images sourced from Google Maps and Bing Maps. If you’d like to use this animation on television or in a film, you must apply for a free broadcast license. Please see the item page for more details.
Hello, I have the same problem as the user christos0603 who wrote to you a month ago. I have installed the scripts and the Map Image Generator Shows up in the AE Window. (I am on a PC no MAC running Adobe After Effects CC 2017.2) I added in my API Key as well as my purchase code. When I tap “Register”, I receive an error that reads “There is a new update, please update the template to continue”. When I tap “Update” it takes me back to the original location where I downloaded the most up to date template. I downloaded again just to be sure and I have the same issue happen. How do I get the most up to date version so I can start using the template?

Hello, Awesome template. Everything is working good. The install went fine. The only issue I am having is when I pt in the coordinates and have it generate an image, it always comes up with no image found. I have looked at the map using the map generator and it shows no problem. it just will not do it in the template. I have tried a few different coordinates in a different pace setting and the same issue is happening. What Am I doing wrong?

If you have anti-virus software or firewall, try to add “MapGenerator.exe” to the white list.
it doesn`t work sir. i`m using windows 10 64-bit, AE CC17. Its working perfectly when using download from google map. But, when i try to download from bing map, the “preparing map” window showing white background.

sir, thanks for the update…its working fine…but for the first 5 layer… for layer no. 6 when bing maps showing download…its showed “camera icon with cross” (blank white)... i think still have bug…

I’m using this for a broadcast client and I’m aware there are copyright/licence issues for using google or bing map imagery.
What are the terms you are providing these maps for? Can I use the imagery under your licence?

Hi, I have purchased this project yesterday & have tried multiple times to set cordinates & download images. it stuck on ‘Downloading map:1 of 1//Zoom Level:1//Total Progress:0%’. I have waited for approx 1 hour long for it to proceed but it never happens. Please help ASAP.
Forget it. Solved now. It was a problem of admin rights to the software…& download. Great project by the way…Keep up the good work.
