You can use this license for a single end product(a movie, a game, a youtube video, a series etc.) If you plan to release Youtube series during a year, you need just one license(it doesn’t matter how long your channel will be exist). And you don’t need Extended license if the audience won’t pay to view your videos. Regular license will be enough.

I’d like to know what kind of license would I need to purchase in order to use effects from this product. Here’s what I want to do:
1) Create an animation 2) Export it as image sequence 3) Use said image sequence as a animated textures in my 3D software

There are two ways to use the pack: a) Regular License allow to use the pack with a single end product (a game, a movie, a series, an advertisment etc) which end users are not charged for b) Extended License allow to use the pack with one end product in a single end product which end users can be charged for. In your case you need to purchase one Extended license per the product you sale. “How long does the license last before it locks off RTFX Generator?” As far as I know, it doesn’t matter. After installing the script and adding it to my AE (open the extension) I cant start AE anymore.
It is opening and then I get aan error that After Effects is not running properly and it has to be shot down.
After deleting the Script files everything works fine again.

Hi! Thanks for your purchasing) The script works only with CC2014 . You can use AE-project in CS5.5+ without the script, but i recommend to update After Effects.

Hello!!! I Installed RTFXinstaller.pkg in Script folder>Mac and follow installation instructions, but when I open After Effects and go to Window>Extensions, i can’t find RTFX generator in the menu. I am on MacOs Sierra version 10.12.6 using Adobe After Effects cc 2017.2 version 14.2.0.198. Please help me solve this problem as well. Thanks in advance! (Sorry, I’m not good at English.)
Hi! Thanks for your purchasing. First of all,
In the terminal, type: “defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.6 PlayerDebugMode 1”(without quotes). Then try to open the script again. If you don’t know how to do it, i can send you command-file install this key automatically.
If the first step doesn’t help, try to reinstall the script:
Press Command-Shift-G to open “Go to the folder” menu and enter the text ~/Library/Application Support to open “Application Support” folder. Click “Go”. Then delete an old “RTFXgen” folder. Then go to ~/Library/Application Support\Adobe\CEP\extensions\ and delete one more “RTFXgen” folder. After that try to reinstall the script using an installer

Hi! If you see the error, you should reinstall the script. Step-by-step guide:
1) Press Win+E to open Explorer and enter the text appdata to the address line.Push “Enter”. Navigate to “AppData” folder. Delete these folders please:
a) ...AppData\Local\RTFXgen (animations resources)
b) ...AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CEP\extensions\RTFXgen (script source)
2) Install the script using the installer.
