hey i just downloaded the map and there is an issue with egypt as there is a place from down right corner must be added so i tried to add it from my side but i wasn’t able to do it so can you please tell me how to edit the map it self ?

Howdy! it’s all in the user guide, but to change the colour of each country, you just need to activate effects so the country used the colour picker rather than the image composition. To do that you just need to select one or more layers in the timeline and then click in the FX box for that layer… in the same location as the boxes for selecting 3D, motion blur, frame blending etc. Hope that helps!
Hi, I’ve just noticed an issue with the France layer in that it also includes New Caldonia in the same comp.
Hi ! I just send you email two weeks ago. I purchased the China map kit and I have problems with the Continuously rasterize in After Effects, it makes disappear some China Provinces. I really would appreciate if you can help me as I’m starting to be discouraged. I’m not a pro in After Effects. Thank you Steve

Hello! Thanks for buying my template. Instructions on how to change the colour of individual countries are in the included video tutorial at 4:00. Basically, you have to turn on the effects switch (fx switch) for the layer you want to change, and you can then use the applied fill effect.

I want to buy this but still use CS 5.5. Would it work?
Only works with CS6 and onwards, but if you buy the map kit then I’d be happy to send you over a copy that will work in CS5.5. Would be a bit later on though, I’m out for the day. Thanks!

Hello! Yes, Mauritius is included as a separate layer. Although one thing to note… due to the small size of the island, in relation to the rest of the world, the outline isn’t all that detailed. Hope that helps. Thanks.
Thank you for your reply we are sitting in Mauritius and is planning to use the map and have it focus on the Indian ocean and if Mauritius is not well outline on it it would be difficult for me to use it, let me know if you have an advise of what I can do.
If you buy the map kit and drop me a message through my profile page with a copy of the license… I can redo the outline of Mauritius for you, and send you over a new version within 24 hours. No charge. I’ll enhance the island to the west as well, as you’ll need some more detail in that if you’re zooming in pretty close. I think it’s Reunion… out and about at the moment so not that easy to check! Thanks.
Well, if you can do the surrounding islands, then I will without a doubt purchase it Mauritius, sister island of Mauritius is Rodrigues, Then Reunion and Seychelles are part of my project. I know that it may be a bit much to ask, but I would like to use yours than working with google map.

Hi just purchased this project. Its great, by the way found some issue with Serbia – Color could not be changed until you turn off San Marino comp, seems that it overlays Serbia Be careful not to start a new war

Hi, like others, I’m finding it really annoying and difficult to change the color of the world map – changing the fill of each country individually is so time consuming, and copy pasting the color of one does not work. Is there any way to do it all at once? It would also be really nice to have a video tutorial of how to work this, it’s very dense. Nice product, hard to use – could be a great product with better instructions for how to work through its density. Thanks!
HAHAHAHA for 33$ it’s a joke??? There is only a comp in 4k, the map markers aren’t animated, your comp of 114796269 with… a solid??? It’s really a joke no?? What the f** 33$ !!!!! Calm down, everything is going to be ok! I don’t set the prices, so you’d have to take that up with the review team. As for refunds, feel free to contact support, VideoHive authors don’t have the facility to issue refunds through the site.
As for the item itself… detailed instructions are included on how to change the colours (as you’ve seen), how to animate the map markers and a bunch of other customizations. As are instructions on how to reduce the render times.
One thing to note… the map isn’t made up of ‘a solid’, it’s made up of a pre-comp that can contain solids, images or footage. A pre-comp that has been painstakingly masked by hand, I might add. I’m not really sure what else it could be made up of?
Although you’re entitled to your opinion, you are the first person to complain out of 158 buyers… just so you know! If anyone has ever had any issues altering the map kit, then they’ve dropped me a (polite) message through the contact box on my profile, and I’ve got it sorted for them asap. But hey, thanks for purchasing my World Map Kit item, much appreciated!

There’s no problem with the template, some people just need a bit of advice when it comes to customization. When I’ve reiterated the steps that are detailed in the included instructions, they’ve had no need to comment again. And keep in mind that only five of the comments (out of 158 purchases) have ‘said there is a problem’.
Doesn’t work? Can’t find ’.mov file’ and then brings up errors and have to forcefully close AE…
Hi, thanks for buying my map kit… and sorry you’re having trouble getting it working. There’s no .mov file included in the project folder, so you shouldn’t be getting that message. If you can tell me exactly what the error messages say, and what version of After Effects you are using, then I’ll do what I can to help. Computer specs might help as well, but that shouldnt be an issue in just opening the project.
