How do I install this file? I’m sorry, I’m new to all this.

Hi, you need Adobe After Effects software to open and use this template

Hi, I was wondering if this video is allowed to be used as a youtube video intro?

Yes, you are welcome to use it

Very much appreciated… Cheers :)

Thank you this is what I looking for..

Great Adventures!)

Can I easily extend the time of each scene and extend the size of each text area? The on screen copy with be longer quotes vs. simple words.

Hi,
To extend the time of scene 1 for example, open MAIN_COMP composition and drag scene 2 to the right on the timeline. Without additional customizations, each scene can be extended up to 15 sec.

To change size of text area, right-click on any text placeholder at the “Texts” folder, select “Composition Settings” and change width and height parameters. But if you make it too big, it may get overlayed by upper image layer.
If it happens, open “scene x” composition where this text placeholder is located, select all layers at the timeline and press “U” button, then place current time indicator to the second keyframe of “Mask” and then extend mask bounds on the screen, so text layer won’t be overlayed.

Your project is great! I just have one issue: on the long version, scenes 21 and 22 aren’t showing up. In fact, they’re covered by a black solid coming down at 1:28 seconds. How can I delay the movement of this black solid until after scenes 21 and 22 have completed??

Thanks for the quick reply! I’m gonna download and test the fixed version now. Will get back to you soon.

OK. I’m working with he AE project now and it’s great. The one thing it’s missing is that the logo comes into view without the ‘curtains coming down’ as scenes 1 to 22 did. This transition makes the change over to the logo much too abrupt.

How can I add the smooth transition to the logo composition??

Sorry, I forgot to do it in the last fix. To do it:
Go to “MAIN_COMP” composition and move “Logo” layer to the right side so its start will be further on the timeline than “scene 22” layer. Here is an image of how it should be:

Cn placeholders have video of any length?

Hi! Each placeholder can have video up to 15 seconds

No easy way to make that longer – also will audio from video play?

Placeholders of this template can be extended in the same way as for “Take a Photo” template, but you should perform that action that I have described in comments there not only with placeholder composition and scene composition but also with comp that is located in Assets -> Zoom folder:

Audio will be played, but because this template has “ladder” structure of the scenes, you will get audio overlaying.

You may need to mute audio manually on the moments when next scene starts.

Hi guys – I need to add a few more scenes to the video, so I’ve tried copying and pasting scene 3, but when editing the new copy, it changes the original scene 3. I’ve tried renaming the two, and managed to get individual videos to play in each, but when copying/pasting the text from scene 3, the text changes in both again. Please could you help with steps to add a new scene that won’t replace the original scene being copied. Thank you!

It is ready. Check your email!

Thank you – amazing service and help :)

You are welcome :)

Hi there

Love the template, and it’s working well EXCEPT that the shapes that are supposed to animate over each of the images isn’t displaying. I tried looking at effect controls for these images/shapes, and the opacity is stuck (unchangeable) in red at 40%. But I’m not even seeing it at 40%. So all I see when playing back on the timeline is the text animating across my source image, without the shapes as seen in the first few seconds of your demo video.

Please could you help me understand how to go about checking/resolving this?

Thank you!

No, after you have imported your footage (File->Import->Multiple files), you have to open comps 1-22 in “Your Footage”

Then, drag and drop imported footage to the down of these opened 1-22 comps (not “scene 1-22” comps)

And there should be only your image (there shouldn’t be anything else)

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! You solved it :)

I was dragging my image directly into Scene 1 (with four other rows), instead of double-clicking the [1] INSIDE ‘YOUR FOOTAGE’ and then dragging my image into there. I thought ‘Your Footage’ was just a storage folder that could store all images, not the actual location of where you need to put your image in each of the 1-22 folders.

Thanks again! It looks amazing :)

You are welcome :)

Amazing, a great job. How I can see the “animation Dissapear ” option ? Thank you!

You should move whole scenes:

When next scene starts, previous one disappear!
For example, if you want scene 5 to disappear earlier, you should move scene 6 to the left on the timeline.

Bingo! Now I understand. Thanks for your time. I love your projects. Thank You!

You are welcome :) Thank you for 5 stars rating :)

Just curious, what has changed in version 2?

In second version you don’t need to move animation markers each time you move scenes. Expressions will adjust animation timing automatically

Thanks, very cool!

You are welcome :)

Great work and stupid question here but what image size and resolution is the best to use for this?

Thanks!

Hi! Image placeholders are 1920×1080, so it is a minimal size for images to avoid lose of quality. Resolution on all comps are set to half of size, but it can be easily changed in composition settings.

NIce Style!! AlL The BEST!!

Thank you!

nice job good style ;)

Thank you :)
